3.5 hours and then got a message "Technical Difficulties try back later"... On hold, second try 2.5 hours now.........

Got denied right away because of my mental health history. Pretty sick in my opinion that they will discriminate against disabilities. Extremely disappointing and frustrating and not impressed at all!!!!

Crooks

Crooks. Terrible/non-existent customer service, the only number listed to contact (no email) and you only get through two levels of call tree before it restricts/prevents you from going further or speaking with someone. This company finds any way to keep your moment that forces you to give up or contact media.

Worst Service Ever!

It's a lazy bunch of people running the company. I went ahead with the insurance provider but was very disappointed and frustrated. They would respond for weeks to fix errors in the documents they sent, I had to call and email them multiple times to get the receipt to submit my expenses but it's been a week and a half and I have not heard from anyone.
I can only imagine what happens once you are using the insurance, I'm going ahead and cancelling the insurance.

They are running this without any customer support. Worst company!

With a wait of more than 2-3 hours to get to any representative, if you are lucky.
No reply to emails or escalations.
They have no accountability.
The phone app crashes every now and again and claims are never handled on time and rejected more than accepted.
This company is more like a scam than legit.
At least have customer support where a reasonable wait time is there.

What a waste of time and money

After over six emails regarding benefits of disability insurance, I have into for over four years. Not a single reply or acknowledgment. Heads up to anyone this company is nothing but a liar. When it comes time to step up and acknowledge a claim that they have to payout. Forget it you'll get nothing. Contact a lawyer.

Terrible customer service, sub-par app

The 'Customer Service' that they offer (if you want to call it that) is terrible. Wait in a queue for over an hour, finally get a hold of someone who is clearly not trained properly. Then get COLD transferred 2 times and finally hung upon. No callbacks. You know you hung up on me.. why not simply call back? Because they don't care. That's why.
All of this because I was denied ortho coverage for my child because "it is not part of my plan". Yes, it is. My coworker who has the same employer-provided coverage had the same thing happen to him. They are just trying to weasel their way out of paying us the benefit.
And don't even get me started on their app which took me 6 times to successfully file the claim in the first place.
If you have the option to get insurance through someone else - do it!

Zero customer service

My work just switched over to this insurer for some insane reason, and I am trying to get enrolled and registered, and not only was I on hold for two hours on the phone with them before being disconnected, I also went through ridiculous chat sessions with their "technical help". It appears they only have two agents to do the chat for the entire company -- Pratik and Nathalie. Pratik spent half an hour not answering my questions before disconnecting the chat on me, and now every time I happen to get Pratik on the chat, he automatically just disconnects the chat. He seems to be unable to answer basic questions about registration and enrollment when I did speak to him. Both of them just enter pre-written responses that do not answer any questions directly and it takes about an hour to get any basic answer to your question. I've enrolled with them but it seems that my plan isn't working at the pharmacy still, and there is no one to assist with this. Seems like that isn't the only problem I'm going to have with this company according to this horrid reviews.

Hard to claim

Money was not transferred even it has been processed a month ago. Very difficult to reach. No answer or you have to wait 45 mins to 1 hour.

I was just on the phone with a representative from Canada Life. I have an account through work and was looking at my dashboard while chatting with her. She couldn't pull up my account. She asked to put me on hold. I was on hold for over 30 minutes before she hung up on me. I don't know what kind of customer service this is. It shouldn't be that hard to find my account.
