My card number was compromised from the Walmart website in less than a month of signing up. They cancelled my card and put my account on hold. They "sent" me a new card, then immediately sent me to collections over $29. Calling every single day, multiple times a day. Even though they knew it was impossible to pay the balance with no card, no account number a locked account. They also charged me interest! The customer service agents will harass you, victimize you and shame you. IT IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.
After I spent over $1500 they put a block on my card after a $213 purchase at Walmart. All I needed to do was send them either a hydro bill or tax assessment for my house, to prove I am who I day I am. However, they are sending me my monthly bill and are charging me the insurance premium which I cannot cancel until the block is off. I tried going to a Walmart to fax them (will not take email) and they said they cannot fax the security department for Walmart! There is nowhere in town that does faxes for the public due to Covid!
They will not budge for me to email or mail! This company does not care about the little man!

Walmart blocked my card. I tried to clarify with them that it's not fraud but was told that they will need to call me back first to confirm. I called them, but they said they will need to call me directly the next day. Wasted three days of going back and forth. Walmart needs to move their customer service department to another part of the world that can do a better job.
Have never been able to even use their website because it constantly locks me out. Every time. Then you have to call customer service and deal with a foreign agent who tries to upsell insurance and can't help with unlocking account anyway. Deplorable customer service. Their algorithms constantly lock the account and decline normal transactions. Garbage.
After having my card blocked 3x by Walmart's security algorithm the 4th time Walmart required me to send in the fax of my driver's licence. Ok, over the top I thought because I could answer all their questions, but later I found out they were going to wait 3-5 business days to re-enable my card! I didn't use my card in any way other than was spelled out in the user agreement. I had one late payment 9 years ago, that's it. My account is in good standing and nowhere near my credit limit. This is lousy customer service to an extreme. Avoid Walmart Mastercard like the plague!

I tried to pay for my son's college tuition with my credit card and they blocked the card for security purposes. Fine, annoying, but I called and they stated they'd remove the block and I'd be able to use it in 5-10 minutes. 30 min later I try again, still blocked. Call again, was placed on hold for 20 min, then come on the line stating they will have it unblocked in 5 min. 2 hours later, still not unblocked, call a third time... placed on hold multiple times telling me they can't remove the block, they will need someone to call me tomorrow. Then they said, again, they can't do anything for me. What???? I am a good customer, paying off my balance every single month. I have an excellent credit rating. Why would they treat their good customers like that? All I'm asking for is to use my card. so I can pay for my child's schooling. Let's just say I'll be cancelling this card immediately and going somewhere that wants my business.
I have never had or heard about a lousier credit card. The lousiness ranges across all the spectrum, from customer service to blocking systematically large purchases in the 1-5k range on a fully paid card having a 15k limit. You don't have such a limit in order to buy all the candies and gum lining the entrances to the cashiers at any Walmart store!!!!
Have had this card for years and have not had a problem until recently. Had the option to lock and unlock the card as needed for security reasons, but suddenly that option was taken away and my card is locked I can not unlock it. When I called the first time I got someone who spoke English so poorly I could not understand what they said. I speak English not Hindi. The second time I called the person said she would fix it. The third time I called the person I spoke to said it could take up to 48 hours to fix...hope I don't have to call a 4th time.

1. Got this card for my teenage kid, tried 3 times to activate text alert/notification, NEVER works.
2. Only received a paper statement a couple of times, NEVER received any paper/email again since then.
3. Tried 3 nights to check balance/statement online (Jun 21 - 23) in order to pay, NEVER works.
4. Tried to call customer service (Jun 23) after 10 hours of work but customer care closed, hope to talk to someone as payment is due, pressed lost/stolen dept but then card was blocked automatically without even anyone talked to me (I had and have cards of other banks, never had that happened!). The automated message said someone will call within 24 hours but NOTHING happened ..... To Be Cont'd
