Extremely poor customer service! They hang up on you and don’t solve your problem at all. Long waiting line with rude and no knowledgeable people. I will definitely cancel my credit card. Do not sign up for this credit ever if you value your time.
I am an impeccable customer and my Walmart MC has been "security" blocked 6 times while trying to make purchases or for automatic recurring payments. It is incredibly aggravating to have to make the call to customer service - be put on hold- talk to a very nice, but impotent agent - be transferred to another nice agent in the fraud department who wants to verify that I was aware of the transaction (or the recurring transaction with a repetitive history) before the card block would be released, I am currently on hold...again...because my card was blocked...again...while I was trying to book plane tickets. Walmart MC- you have used up my goodwill. I made this complaint the last time I spoke with your agent and they hung up on me. BTW...other credit card companies have immediate transactions alerts that get sent by text.. very slick... please look into this.

The worst customer service. I have been calling customer service to help me with my online account for several days now without success. They will tell you that you should expect a call from them but they will never call you back.

I applied online with a credit score of about 770+, annual income 120k did not get any approval /denial but the message - would be contacted in 10 days, no email no application records or email no nothing.
Called care number and they said cannot find your application, was told maybe you did not apply properly and asked to apply again. Guess what I did have to apply again. Two days later pulled my free consumer disclosure report from http://ocs.transunion.ca/ to see enquiries. It says: "Apply in minutes and start shopping right away! You’ll receive a temporary shopping pass with instant approval". The truth is only if you are instantly approved you get a decision immediately. If it's pending or denied you get an email the next day at 4 AM.
The only way to connect is via phone to an Asian call centre that speaks with a problem of hypersalivation carrying an enormous amount of spit, difficult to understand.
I place 3 orders each month. The customer experience was poor, tall claims, customer care not based in Canada, advised to apply again without knowing it would dent the credit scores again.
Since I did not get an immediate response, I contacted Walmart on Twitter and they said someone would get back to me. Got a call 2 days later and the guy said: "we don't ask for additional documentation and we hit bureaus overnight for decisions with pending or denied status."
Like no way to reach out without spending tons of time. Walmart is a brick-and-mortar store not seriously good online.
Pretty backwards doing away with email contact methods and the only method of contact left is phony customer care. Honestly, Walmart customer care is terrible, it does whether you buy groceries or anything else or apply for a credit card...
I have autism and the customer services are rude and disrespectful to me. They cancelled my credit card with no warning. Have to talk with 10 different people and no one has a clue what’s going on. Then they hang up on you. Security people are just as rude. Cannot talk to a supervisor have asked many times no response how can you be so disrespectful to your customers? I don’t understand it. Poor company don’t ever apply for a Walmart Mastercard worst customer service ever.

My card is always compromised it seems like their security is not good even though I paid for that security every month.. and some of the customer services in the dispute department are rude and not helpful. Arrogant and hang up on me. And has zero idea why I was transferred to her. She didn't give me her name.
Not a good service and not happy with the Walmart Mastercard!!!!
These people have absolutely no respect for their customers.
First of all, I was pressured on signing up because the lady at the cashier wouldn’t shut up and let me leave.
Then I never received the card.
Only for them to call me 3 months later to tell me I have an outstanding balance on a card I never received.
I told them I would pay for the fee and cancel the card they answered they cannot do that because I don’t have a card number to provide them….
I don’t even have the patience to go through this story anymore… Anyway, I spoke to 5 different people none of them had the decency to even apologize for what happened.
I ended up sending them a check which was sent back to me. And now they’re on my back again.
I never had an issue with Walmart cause I was just shopping in and out. But if you’re dealing with them just know none of them care about you, all they want is to figure out a way of making more money out of you. They have ZERO solution to help out clients
One thing is sure for me I am NEVER shopping there again.
Got this card about a year ago after being pushed to by a rep at the self-checkout. Only really did it for the same-day discount, activated the card, never used it again. Tried today to use it to use the 6th-month installment plan for a laptop. 'Card Issuer has declined the purchase'. I know for a fact I owe no money, have done nothing with this card, no reason for a $500 purchase to be blocked. Despite them so aggressively pushing it, Walmart offers no in-store assistance, just tells you to call them yourself. Tried that, wouldn't accept my pin, customer service closed, etc etc. Ended up making the purchase on debit after reading about other similar experiences and deciding it wasn't worth the stress. Save your time and your nerves. Absolutely awful.

I recently (Oct 14) ordered something from the US and have yet to receive the product despite many emails telling me it has shipped. When I check the shipping status, it hasn't even been packaged yet, much less shipped. Despite several email exchanges with the vendor, and a supposedly new shipment being processed I still don't have anything after waiting the requested 2-7 business days (as of Nov 20). My call to Walmart was frustrating, to say the least. They will open a case, gee thanks, and someone will get back to me, but no timeline promised or offered. I knew I should have used another card for this - my experience with it is completely different and they don't hesitate to proactively deal with these types of vendors. I knew I shouldn't have used my Walmart card and now I know that the hard way. I will never use them again.
Walmart Mastercard is nothing but a rip-off... They have no security whats so ever... I live in Ontario, someone hacked my Walmart Mastercard in ALBERTA and ran up a bill of over $700.00. We phoned Walmart Mastercard but we might as well talk to the wall... I will NEVER EVER use a Walmart Mastercard again! Where is your security on your Credit Cards? MASTERCARD is getting a lot of bad reviews because WALMART is a scam! I wonder how many other customers are getting ripped off and screwed ??
