awful company for insurance

As previously stated by others, this company has absolutely no costumer service. Their automated service will constantly tell you all service representatives are busy and hang up on you. No one answers the online chat.
Their service standards say a claim should be processed within 2-14 days. I have 3 claims outstanding and almost a month old. All the proper documentation has been provided and received by Canada Life. Previous insurer had no issues with the same claims and paid out within a week.
Unless you are forced to be with this incompetent company… give your money to someone who will pick up a phone and want your business.
Have been trying for weeks to get a hold of someone. Never get a person on the phone, cut off from multiple chats without ever being connected to anyone, email has gone unanswered. This needs to be fixed!!
Never had these issues when we were with other insurance. When will someone help us and get this situation remedied.
Absolutely NO customer service.
I have tried to reach Canada Life PSHCP department on 4 different occasions in the same day and after waiting 56 minutes, a message says they are having system issues comes on and the calls hangs up.
Id rate a zero is possible. This company is the insurance provider for the public service health care plan effective July 1 2023.
I have tried to call them over 100 times, they do not answer. I have tried their online chat, they don't answer or respond, even after waiting hours. I have sent messages via online form inquiry, they do not respond.
Since switched to CanadaLife, i was not able neither to submit a claim no to reach a customer service. It’s more than just frustrating, it’s insulting.
Wait times are unacceptable. I was in travel and it took hours to get a call from a representative. I had a sick child needing care. The main call center didn’t even take calls. I am currently on hold with a general call center to check my enrollment status but still on hold. This company should have anticipated the volume when they took as the insurance provider for the public service health care plan.
Ex-military and our medical insurance was with another very good company and has now been taken over by Canada Life. I was supposed to receive an E-mail with forms to fill out. I have not received anything as of yet, take over was 01 July 23 been trying to call for the past three weeks without any luck. The message is always the same DUE TO TECHNICAL PROBLEM, WE ARE TEMPORARY UNAVAILABLE. This is unacceptable when you are paying into this company that does not even care about your health, well-being or you as a client.
I have been trying to reach someone at Canada Life for 2 weeks to no avail.
No matter the time of day I call, even at their morning opening hour the message is the same: “No agents available, call back later”
On July 1, 2023, the Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP) was transferred from Sun Life to Canada Life. One would never think the ill planning of such a transfer could reach this level of incompetence.
Horrific terrible health and dental insurance company. Why on earth would my employer leave the previous insurer (which is a 5-star ⭐️ company) for this subpar company that is at a 3rd world country standards (I think worse - I wouldn’t wish this type of dreadful company to any country in the world). Rude miserable unhelpful customer service should they answer after almost 2 hours, an APP from hell and a website that makes it extremely difficult to file a claim. Makes a customer go crazy with frustration in using this useless company. Life is going to be HELL with Canada Life.

since the switch from Sunlife to Canada life it has been a complete nightmare. From getting my dependents information incorrect to hours spent on the phone and no one responding back to email. It has to be one of the worst customer services. Also taking 6 weeks to process an online claim is unacceptable and then to process it incorrect and try to find the means to get an amendment. Over all very disappointing
