After putting me on hold for 6 hours my call was disconnected! They never called me back even they said they do. I called again and waited for another two hours until they hung up on me. I called again and again and they did the same. I believe they just don't like to bother. They are not here to help but just get your money.
My flight was cancelled and since paid through Avion airlines won't do anything.
I need to speak to Avion. I was on hold for 2.5 hrs day 1 without talking to anyone.
The Morning of day 2 was on hold for 75 min finally got a person but they weren't able to make changes to an existing booking so sent me to the service department. Now on hold for another 75 min and no response. Our re-scheduled flight leaves in 2 hours (24 hours after the original flight was to leave) and I need to make changes to the return portion but no service. It's ridiculous to have this poor of service in a market that is fluid and answers and changes need to be dealt with in a timely fashion. Not everyone can sit on hold all day waiting, nor should they have to.

After sitting on the phone for 1 hour waiting to talk to a human at the RBC Rewards call centre for the second time in one week I've had it. You can't be currently experiencing an abnormally large number of calls every time I call. When it is a pattern it should be considered NORMAL and you need to hire some staff. I called at 7:30am today hoping to get in.
RBC you are experiencing a normal level of call volume! Do something about it.
The service is brutal!
Do not get this card unless you want to become really frustrated.
Tried to do a business transaction for $5.99 got a card rejected message. Called customer service, talked to a robot to give my card number, waited 20 minutes on hold, spoke to an agent that could not handle corporate questions, was transferred and now waiting again it's been 20 more minutes on hold and counting. How about hiring more staff with the obscene amount of money you make?
We've had flights booked for this morning and due to the current situation with COVID-19, our family decided to stay home. We've been calling Avion's Customer Service since 12:30 PM yesterday to cancel our flights. No one picking up, "the person you are calling is unavailable". If you look at their website, calling is the ONLY way to contact their customer service. I went online to see if they've posted a message indicating that they weren't able to handle the volume of calls, etc.. NOTHING. You are left on your own. Tried to call the airline directly, but says to call travel provider (i.e. Avion) to cancel, not the airline. We are here this morning trying to call again. NOTHING. Here is what we were expecting: we understand that there are probably challenges answering every call coming their way lately, but they should leave a message on their phone line. Currently, no one picks up. Or as an option, put a message on social media outlining your issues. We are so mad right now with this lack of common sense... my wife and I seriously considering switching to another reward card.
I obtained the card exclusively to be provided with travel health insurance. When I attempted to contact RBC to answer a few general questions, I was put on hold for over an hour. Exasperated, I finally gave up. I could not stand to hear “Your call is important to us” One more time!
RBC clearly only wants customers to go online. They do not wish to interact with clients directly. But not all my questions could be answered online. I will be cancelling this card when we return from our scheduled trip in April. Surely there are other products?
