I had basic questions and was transferred 6 times. Took hours to get 0 answers, then was told to call back later in the week. I called back later in the week and was transferred 5 times, got 0 answers, then was told to call back later in the week. Im stuck in and endless loophole. Send help.
The $399 fly-anywhere international voucher has some fine print. I booked a Calgary-Paris return, and it was much much much more than $399. They add certain fuel fees that basically eliminate the benefits of the $399 voucher. A sucker punch. I will cancel this card before the renewal anniversary.

I have been waiting for 6 hours and 01 minute and I am still on hold. I called the fraud department for three amazon prime charges that aren't mine as I don't have amazon prime. However, they have to do an investigation as I, like most people, have an amazon account. My Amazon account isn't prime and not even linked with this credit card, but I was initially told to talk to Amazon... How can I talk to Amazon about an account I don't have any information about except that it is being charged to me? I've already spoken to two different departments and now am waiting to speak with a third department (security) to find out if they can reimburse the fraudulent activity and send me a new credit card before I live in Europe in two weeks.
Between my husband and I, this credit card costs $180 a year. We got it for the nice WestJet benefits like the companion voucher but they've basically made the voucher obsolete with it only being counted on the base fare. Half the flight cost taxes, which can't be paid for with the voucher or WestJet dollars. I'll be canceling this card when I get back from Europe!
I#1 have spent 2 full days trying to contact the fraud department because they thought my spending was unusual so instead of contacting me about it they froze my card!! What's the point of having an app where I can watch my spending and freeze my card myself if they just willy-dilly do it on their own? If I ever thought about banking with RBC I have totally changed my mind!!! As far as the WestJet credit card goes I'll be canceling it asap as they clearly don't need my business.
I had a fraudulent charge on July 4 for $2699 made on my card. I have tried three different days and times to speak with someone about this fraudulent charge. I just hung up after waiting two hours and 34 minutes today, one hour and 35 minutes yesterday, and the one time I did talk to somebody, by the time I got to the third person in the fraud department I was put on hold again and had to hang up as I had to be somewhere. What is going on with customer service?? I need to have this resolved ASAP! I had to call my American Express card customer service, and they answered and my problem was solved within five minutes! Why can’t West Jet Mastercard be as efficient? It’s very upsetting to sit on the phone for a total of four hours and still have not resolved my problem!

This card has the worst customer service!
I had a fraudulent charge on my card for 128.00 and it’s been months and numerous phone calls have been made and it’s still not credited to my account. I sent them an email from the company that “supposedly” sold me the item and they stated it was not them and their name was used fraudulently. WestJet MC wanted me to file with the RCMP I did that and I emailed them a response from the RCMP. The charge still has not been removed from my card. It’s sooooooo frustrating dealing with them! I’ve charged thousands of dollars on this card and never filed a dispute so why am I getting hassled like this. I’ve had other cards and NEVER have I had to jump through so many hoops to get someone to actually hear me and represent my need. The free bags on a flight are definitely not worth the hassle of dealing with their customer service. I’m canceling this card.
Miss a payment and your card is cancelled. No notice... Even if you make a payment RBC security has you locked out for any use of the card.
If you file a complaint, you get a form letter, no addressee and of course, never hear from anyone.
This ruins the Westjet brand.
While travelling in Mexico we took a taxi for 150 pesos or approx $9.50 CDN dollars.
We checked our online account to ensure our transactions were all balanced. The taxi charged us 15000 pesos instead approx $950 CDN dollars. After speaking with our credit card they apologized and said they couldn't do anything but return $200 CDN... Never had any issues like this with any other credit card. Beware of the WestJet world elite RBC credit card... It is garbage!

My husband tested positive for Covid-19 this morning and when we phoned to initiate the insurance claim we were told we have nothing as the claim is related to Covid. Do not use this card if you are flying during the Pandemic. I am done with West Jet Elite

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! My dad and I are from Canada and came to the USA for golf. We have a RCB travel credit card that does not work when we travel! This is a traveling credit card and they cancelled it when we travel and send us on loops for 5 hours trying to get a hold of someone to fix it. We have been in the USA for 3 days now and can't buy anything because of this card. If we didn't have another credit card from (NOT RBC!!!!) We would be stuck here with no money. We have been calling for 3 days a total of 15 hours on hold for absolutely no change. I would suggest NEVER IN 100 LIVES go with RBC, their customer service would be better if I was talking to a wall. Do not in any case go with RBC!!!!!
