My accident happened on the 25th of February 2023 we are in July now and there is nothing done to my car. Whenever I call them they keep telling me they are waiting on the police notice yet. They said that the maximum time to hear from the police is 2 months and now we are waiting for over 6 months. Whenever I call my advisor no body is answering and when I try to call them, I get no response. Their website says they answer 24/7 and help with the claims but they are liars. Whenever it’s time to take the insurance mom off the account they always find enough but that one time we actually need their help we don’t get it. They are still taking off the money for the car but the car is not fixed for 6 months now. I would rate them a 0 if that way possible.
A number of years ago my 2001 Nissan Maxima Anniversary Edition 5 speed was written off due to a deer that jumped onto the highway in front of my car. My car was 11 years old and the blue book was like $4000.00 and that was what they initially were going to award to me. I begged them that my car was in the showroom impeccable condition with no rust, scratches, or damage. After some pleading that the car was worth more to the tune of $11,000.00 which was way higher than the norm for that vehicle that old, Pembridge Insurance sent a gentleman from Hamilton up to Waterloo to look at my vehicle. Even though the whole front end was smashed in he looked and said "you were not kidding, this is showroom condition inside and out. He allowed me to look all over Canada and USA to find a replacement similar maxima with a perforated leather interior, brushed stainless interior trim, and silver color 5 Speed Sport transmission package and every one I found was in much worse shape than mine. Except for one in California. A long way away. he agreed at that point that he would cut me a check for $11,000.00 for it and I got to keep the Alloy OEM rims and tires which I resold. I was worried that I would get stiffed by the insurance company and that they would try to get out of their obligations and neither of the two happened. They were fair, honest, respectable, and quick with my payout. I was very happy that when I really needed them, they were there for me and customized my replacement payout going outside their benchmark book value guidelines. I had a good guy.
Way behind on processing. Cannot keep any files organized. Cancelled policy and believed everything was paid until they sent a demand notice nearly a year later - took almost 6 months to receive an explanation of what the demand was for and by then they sent it to collections. No responses were ever received or any communication received in nearly a year about the balance owing or an explanation or documentation/support on why.
Very unprofessional and completely useless. Insurance companies are terrible but these guys are trying to set the bar even lower...
I had an accident on Dec.21, after I did all the reports to York Region police with evidence as my dashcam which showed I'm not at fault 100% I opened the claim. The appraiser Vitoria L. asked me to pay a $1000 deductible. So I called back to the adjuster Kristina C. and said that the accident wasn't my fault and sent her my dashcam video on Dec.30. She watched the video during the call and from that day until today never heard from her anymore... I called and left messages 3 times. Never call back.
Today I called the claim advisor, he watched the video and agree that I'm not at fault and will waive my deductible. This is the way how Allstate/Pembridge treats the customer when it came to a claim? Instead to protect their customer.
Also, since my car is only 1 1/2 years old and under 18000 km why do they choose to repair my right side fender instead of replacing it?
I paid the premium to Pembridge for my 2 cars and a home close to $6000 per year and this is how they treat me when it comes to a claim and even not at fault...
So next year I will Run......Run....... Run never turn back to Pembridge!
I had a very bad experience with PC Insurance. After agreeing to a quote, it’s been 3 times that they changed my premium. Started taking money from my account without my consent. It’s a case of cheating and fraud. I had cancelled my old insurance by giving fines for early breakage of the policy. And this has put me under extra stress. And I made a regrettable decision by choosing them. I accepted it only as per your Quote on 07 October 2021. It’s been after two months that they are just reaching out to me about changes. As I mentioned before it’s a clear case of cheating and fraudulent scam. And I will never recommend any of their services to any of my friends or family. I regret that I have wasted my time, money and energy on something deceiving. These guys are cheating people in this hard time of a pandemic when everyone is struggling.
The quote that had I agreed…
Total Estimated Automobile Premium2: $ 2774.00
Total Estimated Property Premium: $ 1778.00
Total Estimated Combined Monthly Premium: $ 3900.71
The new premium is $ 5247 and Monthly $ 450.37 for auto insurance only.
And I was also charged extra money more than what these numbers are!
Shame on you Pembridge Insurance. You are misusing the brand name and reputation of PC for something disgraceful.
Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
I hit a sheet of ice and slid off the road 2 weeks ago.
Pembridge can not be reached. They have not contacted me, returned my calls or emails, and have not even sent out an adjuster to look at the car.
Their phone message is an endless loop going nowhere.
I have waited for more than 8 hours on the phone, and I contacted them more than 40 times, and still no response from them. Beware, they may be the worst insurance company out there.
I had my Insurance with Pembridge Insurance and they are the worst. I left the country for 3 months. I paid in full for the year and asked if I can get a 3-month refund of my policy only if possible. They said yes they can do that. I did not ask for a refund of the remaining months on the policy but just the 3 months. And after I returned they said they sent a registered letter cancelling my policy, to contact them if they don't receive the remaining money due for the policy. They never mentioned anything to me about refund of the remaining months of the policy. And Pembridge has my Address, phone number and email address. And only contacted me by 1 registered letter. Now, this letter has been misplaced but as a service provider the Pembridge company should have reached out to me since I am the customer. Saying we have made several attempts to contact you by mail, phone and email with no response.
Bad customer service, now I just found out that I got charged twice for one premium.
I try to call to get an explanation. No person on the other end!
If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.
Absolutely please refrain to do business with PEMBRIDGE INSURANCE. I have filled an auto claim for one month already. I have called many times in the last twenty days. Each time call goes to a third-party call center which could be in India or elsewhere. The call center just takes your messages but no reply and no action.
In between, I had a chance to speak to someone. They have a lack of knowledge and kind of rude behaviour. Their hours of operations are very limited. I maybe end up filing a lawsuit because my claim is still unresolved.
It should not take over a month to figure things out. Either you are going to pay or not. Shame on you for a slow response.
