With TD 4 years now. Every time I try to call is agony. Fastest time yet to talk to someone was 45 minutes. Most times it takes 90 minutes. Today I was trying to call to remove a vehicle from my policy and replace it with another. I started calling at 11:54 am and finally got to talk to someone to make the change on my policy at 6:16 pm. Multiple times after waiting on hold for 45 - 60 minutes the hold music would stop and shortly after the call would disconnect. Once was an hour and 56 minutes when the call was cut. If you ever get to talk to someone they are very friendly and helpful but the wait time to speak with someone is ludicrous. I'll be going elsewhere when the policy is due for renewal.
I have tried contacting TD insurance several times and have waited for more than an hour each time. So I tried to sign up for online and got a message twice that it could not be done and to call an 1800 number and am back on hold forever. What gives this company? This is horrible customer service.

I was on hold for more than an hour and then had to give up..... Another time, I called to make a claim, again on hold for 20 minutes, left a message and the recording said I would get a call back within 24 hours but I did not. They do not answer calls, nor do they give you options to make changes to a policy digitally... at least not significant changes. The terrible company overall.
I have been a client for over 18 years and I can't believe I am waiting on the line for over 3.5 hours so far to reach customer service for my renewal policy. I even opted for them to call me back in priority sequence and when the automated attendant called back thinking they are available, the system would not recognize my selection to speak to an agent and called back 3 times not transferring me. This is so screwed up. I have all my insurance business with TD Meloche and with this experience, I am now looking for new providers. This is ridiculous.
I tried to call TD Meloche Monnex this week and each time the wait time was ridiculous. I am currently on hold with them now for almost 3 hours and still have not talked to anyone! This is so frustrating! If there was a 0 zero this would be more appropriate than a 1 star for customer service.
I was on hold for 4 hours yesterday, 4 hours today. No one pick up the call. Have to change insurance company.
There’s ALWAYS long wait for an agent. I tried to make a change yesterday but I gave up as I couldn’t stay on line for more than an hour, and today I’ve been on hold for 40 mins now while I’m writing this review. Last time I called in I was told now it’s a peak season, however, if they’re aware of it why not hire more people? Why not improve it? Horrible customer service will cancel policy upon renewal.
The second day of waiting on hold for over 2 hours! I have 3 young kids and cannot dedicate this amount of time to try and speak to someone about a simple coverage question. I will be changing companies as soon as possible. I recommend to take your insurance search elsewhere.
I have been calling TD insurance couple times already for the past couple months because I need to add my daughter to my policy. The average wait time is 3 hours. I had called them last Friday and was on hold for 3 hours and then I had to hang up because I need to go. I'm calling again now while writing this review. And I have been waiting over an hour already still no one picks up the call. Terrible customer service :(
Had to phone in after having been locked up of my online account (why?). Waited forever to get answered by a first-line agent, transferred to a second-line agent, and waited forever again only to end up wasting another more than a half-hour and not even have my case resolved. And that was just to make simple changes to my policy. Imagine having that kind of service after an accident! Cancelled and went elsewhere (while I was waiting on the line with TD, lol). It's also useless to use the online portal; all my modifications were lost and I got locked out of my account. They probably wanted to have me call back and try to upsell me.
