Horrible

There's are a reason Pembridge is cheap. You get what you pay for.
Pembridge penalized me for taking a cash payout instead of fixing my vehicle after submitting a claim where the other driver was at fault. My vehicle is older and it was mainly paint damage; not worth me fixing. Other insurers don't do this.
Another claim they tagged as 50/50 had a net payout of zero because no damage to my vehicle and the other party didn't complete their claim. I find out 3 years later that 50/50 means both parties at fault.
So I have an at fault claim that affects my rates when no money paid out.
Both incidents took way too long to resolve. Claims department is backed up and busy.
Avoid Pembridge at all costs.
Cheap at the start but will cost you in the end.
I was hit by another car while at a stop sign. I’ve never really have been injured before. Pembridge insurance adjuster has made my life so difficult. I do not receive responses nor do any of the health care providers ( physios, massage therapist, concussion clinic or eye Neurologist). There is constant barriers put up and delays.
I could never imagine my own insurance treating me like this. I have a care team willing to help me but there are such delays which has not allowed me to return back to work full time.
I am a public health care provider and I would never deny a patient care ever. I am made to feel like I’ve done something wrong.
I called main office requesting change of adjuster or at the very least someone return my call but no one has.
My colleagues and family are in disbelief.
Truck got into an accident 5 months ago. It’s still sitting at the body shop waiting on approval for repairs. It was a third party at fault and they still won’t give approval to fix. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
My car is undriveable after an accident. It took Pembridge 12 days for first contact about my claim. 18 days after my accident and my car is STILL sitting in the tow yard where it was put right after the accident. No answers, no forward movement, nothing. EXTREMELY frustrated.
Had my truck broken into and culprits totally ripped apart my steering column
This happened over a month ago and I have been without a vehicle since
The auto body shop said there’s more damage than the vehicle is worth
Everything is at a stand still and absolutely no word from Pembridge as to what is going on! I was told it could take 6-9 months! Meanwhile I am without a truck and I am not told if they are fixing it or writing it off!
DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
My claim is now at day 21 and my adjuster has yet to return a phone call she went on holidays and left my claim with another useless adjuster who after 4 days of calling will not return a phone call either. I’ve called the 1-800 number and they just put another not on the file saying I want to speak to the adjuster. This is the most incompetent company I’ve ever dealt with ….. I’m hoping next week the adjuster will return my call if not I don’t know what else to do . If anyone ever suggests pembridge insurance to you say he’ll no !!!!! If they wanna improve anything they should change this review so people can rate them zero stars. So once again don’t sign anything with this incompetent company.
Thanks Bill
Do not use this insurance company…. Incompetent! Had a claim and had to hire outside of the company to even get a hold of someone…. 2 months and still haven’t heard anything….. this is ridiculous! The only thing they have done was take our payments every month.
Nobody ever answers the phone, emails and I have now gone without a vehicle or rental for months…. Still waiting!
Slow, and will drop you the minute you have a claim (mine was so small).
Stay far far away!
Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
It should not take over a month to figure things out. Either you are going to pay or not. Shame on you for a slow response.

Was involved in a hit and run. I submitted a claim, got a call - had to call much over 15 times over 3 weeks (once or twice a day) to finally get connected to someone: not even the person who had initially called me. Disappointed over all.
