I was in a car accident 2 months ago. I have been paying my premium but am I not driving my car since it is in bad condition. An adjuster isn’t helping to get me a rental car even when it was not my fault. I have been calling insurance to cancel my premium since yesterday. I was on hold for more than 1 hour yesterday and today I'm online already for 2 hours. This is unacceptable...
I called as I needed to add a vehicle. And I noticed they needed to make a correction to another change I asked for 2 months ago. I had to wait 2.5 hours to add the vehicle and have them make the correction. These were both done wrong and I had to call again now and have been waiting 3 hours. Still waiting for a person...
Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
Took 2 hours on hold in the RBC Auto insurance queue today. The person I ended up speaking with was very good. RBC should provide a call-back type service for situations where their support lines are overloaded.
Well well well!
I was RBC auto insurance customer for the last 2 years for my car. Afterwards, I decided to sell my car because it was financed and I want to save money so I sold the car I called them and they said we have to cancel your insurance we can’t issue new insurance until this is cancelled and then they cancel my insurance and give me a quote for 3rd party insurance around $415 3rd part which was double what I was getting before. I will not recommend anyone this company please don’t use these fraudulent people.
Heavy accent, can't understand every other word that I'm saying and vice versa...
Outdated document process that I had to repeat over and over four times. Sent file not received.
These guys are a joke. Waited over 45 mins. I
sure their executives don’t have to wait. Useless!
Contacted for a quote. My current insurance is $230 - dropping to $220 with my current provider. 2 days of back and forth on the phone, excessive hold times and 2 hour late callbacks to be told this:
Quote - $154 a month (great!)
Actual - $163 a month (okay - but better than $220)
Attempt to purchase - Epic Fail they needed 3-4 weeks processing for an application and my policy is up in 3 days so I would have to not drive (not an option) for 3-4 weeks? Whatever happened to due diligence?
Their advisors are incompetent. My daughter moved out and got her GSL. Rbc insurance called me to add her as an occasional driver as she didn't own a car or have an auto policy. Paid them $600 for half a year. Asked advisor if I have 10 nephews and they visit us on regular basis will I need to add all of them as an occasional driver. She didn't answer it... Policy renewed and she was listed as an occasional driver. I had 3 cars on policy and one was 20 years old. I bought another car and called to get insurance. Told the representative that the old car will be sold and may take a few weeks.
Call caused the problem. Advisor was saying that now they will add my daughter as principal driver on E550 and asked for a premium of $4500. Argued that she does not live here and in end told him to keep everything the same and I will move insurance. I moved everything to another company and saved over $1000.
I am new to this company I switched after being with a different company for 17 years, I just had the pleasure of talking to someone name Kenny, he was super professional, polite and helpful, for sure he left a positive impression on me. Thank you, Kenny!
Just to save 10-20$ I would not recommend RBC insurance. Worst experience ever. Trying to reach them since yesterday to get a quote to add a driver and now thinking it is better to switch with another insurer and totally cancel this policy. These guys do not have employees or I don’t get it.
