I reluctantly signed up for the card at the cash since I was promised a $ 25 rebate on the next purchase. I never got the card, never got a statement, but finally, yesterday, I got a text saying I was behind in my payments. I only used it that first time because of course I couldn't because I didn't get the card. Two hours on the phone yesterday, being transferred here and there. Apparently, my unit number was missing from the application, although I carefully gave it. First-person on the phone fixed it. But then I was transferred over and over again. Final Department seems to be Security who wants to verify me. They wanted my address from 20 years ago. I gave it to them. They said they will call me back on my phone to verify it is me. I waited, the phone never range but got a voicemail from Walmart saying to call them back on the number on the back of my card. I don't have a card!!! Called again, transferred 4 times, got Security Department, he said he'd have to call back on my phone, never called back. On hold now for 45 minutes while Security is doing??? I just want to pay the bill and then quietly cancel the card. What a mess.
Suggest not to use the Card, a 3rd class company. Spent 2 hours but didn't get solutions. 4 customer care agent pass one after another.

My spouse was having problems with his card. It was being declined for $14.00 purchases. We pay our bill on time! Eventually it was replaced.
Now my card isn’t working. I tried using it 3 different times and the card isn’t even recognized. Made a call today and I got the run around, then they ended the call. I was annoyed but not rude. So, I have to try again. It’s better to just not use the card rather than return it as it will affect your credit score.
It’s CHRISTMAS time. The time when you spend money, like it or not! Walmart is missing out on our sales.
It is really amazing in 2023 you have such a bad credit card. Very awful webpage, completely unprofessional customer service and bad service.
they do not understand your issue. Every passing phone you to explain and i passed to six people. sometimes you feel you talk with people sitting in other countries like AISA
PLEASE NEVER APPLY FOR THIS MASTERCARD-Walmart is not bad but credit card is 10000 percent bad.
I applied for this card in mid August, they do a hard pull and approve me. I don’t receive my card till late September. I call to activate it and after being on the phone for over a hour and speaking to 3 different people over 2 days I manage to get it activated. Then I see on the day I called to activate my card they had done ANOTHER hard pull on my credit! Completely incompetent customer service.

So I got 5 transactions that were not authorized by me. Four different Walmart people came on line and asked me the same questions over and over and put me on hold and no resolution... customer service needs to understand that the more they scare customers the more people will close the Walmart card and they will be out of job! Customer service should be very careful on how they behave with customers.

I always try to pay my card off as soon as possible, mostly before the due time. There is a time the due date is on the 23rd. I paid on 20th, I happen to have an automatic charge posted on the 19th but when I paid it did not appear. Then the next month I was charged an annual interest at 130% for this amount I happened to miss because it is visible after I have paid my balance. I then called customer service. The first time I was disconnected after 20 minutes waiting; the second time I was told the person cannot access my account thus he was transferring to me another person and got disconnected again. Now I am still on the call waiting...
