I was fortunate enough to get help from a representative - Customer Service on August 13, 2020. This gentleman is very knowledgeable in any sense and very helpful. He will help you in any way he can to navigate your needs. I must say I have been a customer of TD Meloche Monnex for 20 years and this is the only time I was impressed with TD Insurance Customer Service or any Customer Service as a matter of fact. They should have more knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives like he, after all, they are sort of the front line of the Company. MANY THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!
Seriously a fraud company! I changed my address recently and I am the same postal code and still raised up the policy from 415 to 690 ...no accident no claims history at all and still jacked up the premium. Customer service rating would literally be in negative. Kept hanging up, had to call numerous times to get hold of one person. The company is trying to make their money back due to COVID 19 situation by charging ridiculous hike up on their auto insurance premium!
I can't speak to other people's experiences with Meloche Monnex, but I've never had issues with them. I've been in a few fender benders, but each time I phoned in my claim all they asked for was the police report number and what collision shop I wanted to go to, and when I arrived at the garage an hour later, the paperwork had already been completed and a rental car was waiting for me. Several years ago, I had the misfortune of striking a pedestrian. The company hired a first class law firm that managed to get the case dismissed without a trial, without mediation, without even having to give a deposition. And in most cases, including that last one, the deductible was waived. They're not quite the least expensive, but I trust them for both home and auto. I'd recommend them to anyone. I've always received white glove treatment, and I appreciate that.
I've been with TD for 20 years but enough was enough. Ridiculous wait times for everything, add-ons that were not explained or disclosed, excuses, late renewal packages (2 days before due), rude service, and rising rates that are no longer the cheapest. Good riddance!
Hello, I had to call TD today as my payment for my premium did not go through so I was at risk to have my policy terminated unless I paid what was left to pay (over 2.5K). I could not afford that and had missed the payment as I did not get paid and just paid for my permanent residency so I was left dry... The insurance advisor, did everything he could to get me back on track and now everything has been settled. I can't thank him enough for how good he was and how amazing of a customer service experience he delivered. Thank you again.

Took three calls of about 30 minutes before I got through to a representative. Once I was able to speak to someone the service was excellent and rates were lower than the online quote suggested. I was about to give up based on other comments here but glad I persisted.
