TD insurance's staff is very efficient and professional. I had a traffic accident last month. They help me a lot. I could contact them very easily. The TD staff follow up the case closely and gave me many useful instructions. Thank you very much! Very professional, very helpful and friendly, too.

Horrible service

It’s hard to communicate with them. No one is answering your emails nor phone calls, for weeks no one will help with the claims!
Omg, having the worse experience ever, they are big with a name but there is NO SERVICE!

Incredibly frustrating

My claim has been open for two weeks and there has been no progress at all. Even getting the adjuster to communicate with me has been awful.

We will be changing our insurance company as soon as this is all over, and I will never EVER go with TD Insurance again.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Terrible with claim

It has been over a month since someone with this insurance hit my car and they just keep pushing me off as to not taking care of the damage on my car the police report says he is 100% at fault and he got cited at the accident they don’t call anybody back I’ve been asked to speak with supervisors I would never recommend this insurance!!!!

Claim denied

My claim was hit&run, TD insurance expert reported not hit and run. They kept my car for two months and charged me for two months. Finally, after two months their engineers said it was hit by a hard object, the adjuster called me by soft voice said sorry, take it out otherwise pay for parking.

Worst insurance

By far the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with!!! They're just money-hungry people, you would have thought that because you are paying a well-known bank that you will be fine and everything. Well in this case TD isn’t!! They are good in their day-to-day banking needs and business banking but not for auto insurance. Still waiting for my car to be fixed and it’s been a whole month, haven’t been approved and then to top it’s they missed up on my address so my premium amount changed. I had to pay a cancellation fee for me to leave this stupid insurance and get a better quote from somewhere else. STAY AWAY FROM TD INSURANCE!

You have been warned

Not just worst insurance company out there. But this is one of the worst companies you will ever have to deal with in your life and the customer service is beyond atrocious. I went through an absolute nightmare in the claims process in which they would not budge at all on their offer even though I showed many comparable vehicles for more. Just to add a vehicle, or get your summer vehicle from fire/theft insurance back to full, will take you min 45 min to an hour if you are lucky. The company literally gets slower and less efficient every time I have to deal with them. Even their music while you are on hold will quiet down like someone may have come to the phone then it triples in volume and just blasts in your ear. I almost swear this company is trying to make this experience as unpleasant as possible it is that obviously terrible.

2 Months... still not finalized

I made a claim 2 months ago and it is still not finalized.
I have been charged premiums for 2 additional months so far and the insurance adjuster does not respond to any of my messages as to why I am still being charged.
They lost my business on the new car I just purchased.

If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.

Shop around don't get them

They will only fix parts of your vehicle they want to and not all the issues that were affected by the accident. Then tell you that area was not caused by the accident and won't fix it. I messaged them about it over a year ago they kept saying they will get back to me then they just say no were not fixing it because it is rusted so it wasn't caused by the accident. It is rusted because it's been a year I'm waiting!
