They charged me first and last when I did the policy but "accidentally" charged me also for the last month when the policy was over I don't recommend no one to get insurance with them everything is bad
For one policy change, I was on the call with representatives for hours! Unbelievable. TD system and the process is unbelievably convoluted and every step has to be approved or consent, even with the basic request of changing the date for policy.
If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.
Please avoid this company. On the phone for over 2 hours. Shop around! A customer service representative was rude and took over 2 hours to remove a truck off my policy
Awesome!!! Unless you need a claim handled! Then you’re on your own. 15 years I was with them! Good luck getting someone on the telephone... Just don’t! Don’t walk away, run! You’re warned!
I have had one small claim in my 15 years with TD Insurance. A fender bender. They would not fix my hood that was damaged as they claimed it was not related to the accident...
Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
Whoever I talked to couldn't even speak English. Had no idea whats going on. Tried to make me pay 700 bucks a month for insurance. I ended up hanging up on them. I Will certainly not be dealing with them again
I am disgusted and furious at the money grab implemented by TD Insurance. TD Insurance has instated a monthly fee of $7.50 ($90 per year) - for the privilege of paying your vehicle insurance premium monthly. The representative I spoke to suggested two things after I explained my displeasure at this money grab: 1 - she suggested avoiding the fee, I pay my yearly insurance in full. I explained this was not an option. 2 - she suggested I put the payment in full on a credit card so I could collect points. (Thanks for the great advice). Imagine charging your clients a fee to pay their monthly premiums. This is shameful. It may be an insignificant amount in the big picture - but - I cannot fathom what TD is now making on charging clients a monthly fee to pay their premiums. This is enough to make me look for another insurance provider. I mean, how low can you go?
They accidentally delete one of my properties from my insurance policy and to date, I am calling them every 2nd day and they haven't resolved the issue yet. It's been over 10 days. Their computer system is always crashing and it is a complete pain to deal with them. I am in process of moving my business to another provider. If it is so painful to deal with them without any issues, what will happen if I were to file a claim.
Do not give your hard-earned money to these people, they are horrible!!! I bought a brand new truck in 2019, it doesn't even have 20000kms yet. I was in an MVC that was no fault of mine, the frame is bent as listed on their quote for repairs. I was told by their adjuster that he will just cut that piece of the frame out and fix it!!! The cab is now deemed unsafe according to the auto standards, they told me they will just cut out that part of the cab and put a new piece in!! They are trying to return my vehicle to me with $30000 damages in OEM parts. They are attempting to put aftermarket parts on my brand new truck and return it to me BLACKLISTED and with no trade-in value!!! My brand new truck! This is how they treat their customers!!! Do not go here! I urge you!! Crooks! It has taken them a month to even get a proper estimate on the repairs! They drag out their claims in hopes you will just roll over for their crooked quotes!
Twice I spoke with an advisor on the phone who told me that I did not have to pay at the time (and at all) and twice I’ve received a letter saying that I owed them money. The first time was after a move and covid - so I had missed a few payments. The letter said I had to pay the rest of the year off or my insurance would be cancelled- but the advisor told me I would only have the regular monthly payment on the usual date. When that had passed and nothing came out, I called to inquire - they had cancelled my insurance. I had them conduct a call review and they agreed it was not my fault. I resolved it and cancelled my insurance with them when the year was over. The advisor said my account was squared up. I just received a letter saying I owed $70. So glad to be out of that hell.
