I can't speak for services in other provinces but I have nothing but good things to say about belairdirect in Quebec. They were always friendly and helpful. I had one claim with them when somebody backed into my parked car. The process of getting my vehicle repaired was as stress free as possible. The province's no fault insurance and low rates helped the experience but, overall, it was the positive interactions with many different representatives that moved me to write this review. Good service shouldn't go unnoticed. I recently moved back to BC and deal with ICBC where my only complaint is the high rates: $100/mo compared to the $35/mo I was paying for the same coverage in Quebec.

I recently applied for auto insurance with Belair Direct, the person I spoke with his name is Josh was very professional and friendly. Josh even asked me many questions and looked for the best possible discounts to have lower rates. He did come back after being on hold and mentioned that the overall policy will be 3 dollars more per month and I was OK with that because it was only a small amount. I really appreciated everything Josh did for me so in other words I was very happy with the service I had with Belair. Oh yes I would like to mention that I was a previous customer of Belair 3 years ago and have returned with them because I had remembered the great quality of insurance offered and the great service.

So pleased with recent MVA claim experience and overall dealings with company. I have used this company since I was eligible when it was Grey Power. Rates excellent. Service during resolution of my recent claim was outstanding as was the repair facility that was recommended.

Thank You for being there for me. An unexpected tornado damaged my Nisssan Murano Premium. A quick call to Belairdirect and I was authorized to take my vehicle to the collision center of my choosing which I did. They undertook the repairs and did an excellent job finishing ahead of schedule. Their workmanship was outstanding. Due to my physical limitations, the substitute vehicle I required was not off the shelf and Belairdirect ensured that my specific needs were effectively and promptly addressed. In the end, my vehicle was returned like new and Belairdirect superseded my expectations and outperformed other insurance companies servicing friends vehicles damaged that same day due to the tornado. Many neighbours are switching too Belairdirect. Some are still waiting for their vehicle after 4 months tied up in substandard collision centers and their insurance companies have been doing very little to assist them. Belair's adjustor handled my claim in a clear, calm, reassuring manner, reducing the stress I felt after 'hit and run' damage to my new Lexus. Coverage included a rental car which was most helpful given the time it took to repair the car.

I was originally concerned because they were one of the better-priced insurance companies we found, so my concern is that I would potentially experience poor customer service - but not at all. We have had to do a window chip claim which was quick and easy. Then when someone else dented the side of our car, we had to go into a body shop. Even though I had to deal with a claims agent, repair shop, and a car rental company, it felt like dealing with just one company. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, respectful, and effective at their job. Expectations were clearly communicated so I knew what I had to pay for (or not pay for), what information they required from me, how much time it would take to complete repairs, and how the drop off/pick up would occur. The coordination of the insurance company with their partnered businesses is amazing and left me stress-free through the process. We also had an instance where we wanted to understand the transfer of insurance to a rental car when we were going on vacation. The rep we spoke with was extremely helpful and clear. They were able to process our request and update the information for us promptly so we had what we needed in time for our trip. Glad we checked and glad we added the extra $ for the added driver on our rental insurance.
