Walmart MASTERCARD Consumer Reviews

Will be cutting this up. Called and told them I was leaving country, this is the 3rd time I could not use my card in the USA.

I switched to a Walmart Mastercard credit card 18 months ago and have had to have THREE cards in that time and re-register my card on all the online stores I use. Not just any stores. Reputable stores with good personal information security. Then, when I reported this fact that I've had 3 cards in 18 months, the person I spoke to over the phone kept discounting my concern that our credit cards are so insecure. I dropped that question and asked what we as consumers can do to make our cards more secure, and she HUNG UP ON ME. Professional.

I don't care about your insurance, I don't even care about the fraudulent use of my card, it's the attitude of the operators and the hang-up call b/c they didn't want to suggest what I could do, which I assume is nothing.

I'm using the third credit card from Walmart rewards Mastercard
No support when there are discrepancies. I reported fraudulent charges being deducted from my credit card without my consent. Customer service put the onus on me and did not go after the crooks that stole my money.
I was forced put a stop order on my credit card. I have to reapply for a new card. Because they would not block the fraud from happening.
Walmart rewards Mastercard has no intention of getting my money back.

My card was compromised and it was a nightmare dealing with the security department. It took many calls to resolve. They were supposed to put a block on the card so that it can’t be used, but they didn’t and the scammers kept using it. I called so many times, kept getting transferred then disconnected. Long story, but in short they’re very incompetent and it was a terrible customer service experience

Tried to make a purchase and it was declined. By the time I spoke to the 4th agent after verifying my identity over and over and over again. I was steaming mad. Still declined the purchase. Looked like an idiot in front of people in the store. Worst clown show ever!

After having my card blocked 3x by Walmart's security algorithm the 4th time Walmart required me to send in the fax of my driver's licence. Ok, over the top I thought because I could answer all their questions, but later I found out they were going to wait 3-5 business days to re-enable my card! I didn't use my card in any way other than was spelled out in the user agreement. I had one late payment 9 years ago, that's it. My account is in good standing and nowhere near my credit limit. This is lousy customer service to an extreme. Avoid Walmart Mastercard like the plague!
