You can't get ahold of anyone here! I don't even think the phone line is real at this point.. been on hold for about 2 hours in total over the past few days.
Do they expect you to hire a personal assistant to get ahold of Allstate on your behalf? I'm trying to pay this company money and they won't even answer the phone. Feel terrible for the people who work here. Despicable.
Very unprofessional! You cannot contact your office anymore, you’re directed to an answering service and they don’t answer! I will be moving all of my insurance needs, after 15 years. It makes me very unhappy! They’re so unprofessional, the supervisor in Sudbury G, Myles, sent me his T4. I’ve been sooo unhappy for sooo long!!!! I haven’t moved my policies because I would have to get all my vehicles re-certified. It’s a joke the way Ontario lets these companies operate

I got changed for a vehicle that has been parked for three years now for six months.
The vehicle is parked and I pay for it full coverage for six months without use at all I made phone calls almost 10 times I got the voicemail I leave a message every time I call no one gets back to me and I don’t really know why I have been in the website of Allstate insurance there is no option there to solve the issue no way to get things done by email or phone call or text message. What else should be done with this company just to find a way to get someone to speak to address this issue I don’t believe that should be blamed on COVID-19 at all it’s their way of serving their clients without any respect... I have been dealing with these problems since 2008 for 14 years now. No respect at all!
I am writing this review while I am on hold with their customer service for 3 hours and counting. PATHETIC. If I could, I would give them a zero star. I just wanted to add another car to an existing policy. The way they are making their customers wait for hours and hours, they should be ashamed of themselves.
Appalling customer service.
I waited and waited on the phone to complain, holding for 45 minutes and then another 1 hour 20 min. Someone was supposed to call me back. They never did. Now it’s Friday late afternoon and the matter is still not resolved.
Please, please for your sanity, choose another insurance company. The service we received from another insurer who grabbed our new business with open arms and then shunned us and passed the buck when complaints and issues arose. No matter where you are in the country I suggest you DO NOT buy any insurance through this third-rate company. You will live to regret it.

Absolutely impossible to reach any agent. I have called numerous locations, tried to leave messages after pressing 1 as the recording tells you to do so, but it goes to nowhere. No one ever calls you back so you're stuck on hold for HOURS! INFURIATING! I'M TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! one star is too good for this place
Terrible company, whenever you call them they will put you on hold for an hour.
WAITED FOR 44min at customer service call... They DON'T HAVE ENOUGH STAFF to handle the calls and putting us on hold. Just repeating Advertisements boasting their company and frequently 'a patience is appreciated. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT.
No Queue System and Your queue status numbers. Unfortunately, this company just plays an auto message and KILLING OUR TIME. Finally closed giving a call back message.
The story did not end. The next day they called at a random time for just a second and dropped a voice message to call another number.
This number, the same sad state of affairs and call went for 51 minutes and I dropped. Going to the nearest office to just give a change in payment information.
I have 3 cars and 2 houses insured with Allstate company for such a long time and always been loyal and on time in my payments, never missed any payments but now they are charging me double months plus $50 late payments because of their own mistakes, how can I even complain, where is the place to put complain against them, they never pick up the phone, and after trying to call them over a week and waiting over the phone for more than 1hour and 45 minutes every time I finally catch representative (Keith) who tried to waive the charge but the management team didn’t accept their mistakes and still ask for double payment and late payment charge.
How unfair they would be in this pandemic situation, with all these issues still trying to overcharge and rip off people.
NEVER GO WITH ALLSTATE.
So much better and more respectful and better customer services companies out there. Don’t do this to yourself.
No answer to multiple calls to simply update driver info. On hold for hours over a few calls. Plain unacceptable!
