Car Insurance Claim

I had a car accident on Feb 10th, 2024 and I was told that adjuster from All state insurance will give you a call/email back within 5 days to discuss the claim. However, it's more than three weeks and I haven't received any call or email from this insurance company. It seems like they don't know how to run their business and deal with customer who are already in stress after the accident. When you increase the insurance premium every year due to factors (inflation, number of claims reported, etc), a customer is expected from insurance company to resolve the issues promptly rather than we call them and ask what happened to the claim. This is a terrible company to deal especially for car insurance - don't go with cheap rates and save money and deal like me if anything happened. I wouldn't recommend anyone in future to deal with this company for any kind of services.

Stay away from Allstate

I recently had a disappointing experience with Allstate Insurance. Despite being a loyal customer, I encountered unwarranted price hikes with no room for negotiation when I reached out to discuss rates. The customer service wait times were exorbitant when calling, and when I finally connected with an agent, I was met with inflexibility and a suggestion to switch to a cheaper option elsewhere. It's disheartening to see a lack of respect for loyal customers and a disregard for fair pricing practices. As a result, I've decided to take my business elsewhere, as it's evident that Allstate Insurance prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction.

They were taking the wrong amount from my account until i noticed

They are absolutely the worst insurance company. So glad i left them.
1) They literally stole from me and acted like it was no big deal that they were charging me the wrong amount.
2) my bank account got compromised and instead of reminding me that my last payment didn’t go through Because i had changed my card, they added more fees and took HUGE amounts of money to restore my insurance.
Trust me and avoid at all costs. Their average wait time for any help is approximately an hour.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Wait times for over an hour to speak to someone I’ve called several times in the past few months to add/remove cars and have had to wait more than an hour each time. When I actually speak to someone, and they can’t answer my question, I have to wait another hour so get someone who can answer my question.

Allstate insurance- cancelation is very hard

I had a very bad experience with Allstate.
I purchased a car insurance with Allstate, but I get an additional "property insurance" which is about rental property or something. It was the agent "told" (not recommend) me to buy (I don't even have a rental house, or a room), I was told it helps to reduce insurance price, but actually it did increased my payment every time (extra $42.28/month)!!!
when I sold my car and need to cancel insurance, the agent just gave me a number to call then never contact me again. I called to cancel the car's insurance and the property insurance, 2 weeks later, they finally canceled the car's, but keeping charging me for the property insurance. I called again (the connecting is always waiting for long time), and I was confirmed it canceled, and I was told that they need to contact another department. One month later, I found I was still charged through my credit card. I had to call again, the girl said the cancelation is still in progress. I have no words at all.
I am still waiting....

Any e-mails they reply only after 2 days. Any phone calls is hold for 30min at least.
It has been like this for many years. Looks like management not making any effort to make it faster.
Very disappointed with the service. I am still with Allstate for the last 4 years. I will move it out during my next renewal.

If you need help, DON'T CALL ALLSTATE

Our truck battery died, we called Allstate to see if they could help us. They sent a driver who said we weren't covered to get towed because of the area we were in, so already waiting for hours he LEFT US STRANDED, circling on the phone again until we had to call Allstate again and they said we ARE covered and sent another tow who actually knew their job. I had my cats in the boiling hot truck and I can't take them out fearing they'd get sick from mosquitoes that were heavy in the area. So we continue on our trip, pop a tire and have to call Allstate again. Lady left us waiting on the phone for 20 minutes just to tell us we're not covered to get our trailer towed along with our truck only the truck is insured. EXCEPT THE PREVIOUS TOW ALREADY TOOK OUR TRAILER. Nobody knows the policies or their job descriptions, learn how to do your jobs or don't offer insurance to people.

Stay away from Allstate!!!

Worst possible customer service ever... they never answer your calls... (on call for the last 64 minutes to add one driver to my auto and still no answers).
3 weeks ago, I called to report an accident and it took them more than 30mins to answer the call. Once they did, they offered no help and were disrespectful.
However, they are great at getting your money: if you call for new insurance, they will answer within seconds (I tested with another cell phone while still waiting to get somebody to answer my call and they answered right away).
