After the first month with Allstate ,I called them to cancel my insurance with them, because there not consistence with the things they say. We agreed on my premium and what i was going to pay each month. After a month came they deducted from account more than what we agreed on. So I called them right away to ask them why they charged more than the monthly payment ,i have already payed the first month and the last month, so i was like why are they charging me this much. she was like no am not sure why let me get back to you, they never do they never call you back, am the one who always has to call and they give me the same reason. they never tell you the truth, its always something else. its always let me check with this let me check with that, i was with them for just a month and half and i have seen what ppl where talking about on this site. there honestly HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE STAYYYY!!! AWAYY!!!! FROM ALLSTATE INSURANCE!!!!!!!

These guys are so bad. I haven't been in an accident. I just tryto pay my bills and they give me such a hard time to give them money because they want to delay me and charge an extra 50$ to 100$ in admin fees plus 2x times the payment. My credit card denined them because of the way they put threw the payment on a computer system. they said the computers do the stuff and they can't interfere so I can't pay my bill. I asked if i can pay the rest of it so I don't have to deal with the hassle of this computer system errors. They said no one does that but if i want i can pay an amount. I asked what my balance was. they said they don't know and they are busy so i should decide what I would like to pay and it would not show up for a month and I will still have to pay a 50 fee and must get a letter to explain why they were deny on the same day i called to do an alternative payment since my card company informed me what happen was not my fault but can only mail me the info. They didn't even send me my pink insurance slips and acted as if I could dive with out it. I had to get a temporary card. Its cost me time and money to make sure they do their job witch I shouldn't have to. I should be able to pay them for my insurance without calculating how much to pay, or how to get them the money, or going out of my way to pick up slips (what i'm paying for) and reminding them to mail them to me. I can't imagine what would happen if I ever got in an accident, I would pray hard that they could assess it responsibily and I have no confidence that they will with all these extra charges for nothing. How can you trust these guys that will steal from you every chance they get.

Who would want to pay full coverage for a junk old car just to scrap it a few months later and liability for a brand new vehicle that was just bought three years ago? I've got to made a claim to find out the shocking truth!!! Randy T. and Tony B. cowardly denied their mistake and sent me for a wild goose chase just to drag my claim and waste my time thinking that that I will give up after all and let it go as many others would do! I'll see them in court. I'll fight for it till the end. People beware!!! Please be very careful if you still with Allstate Thunder Bay. Check out every detail carefully. Don’t let them rip you off and laugh at us thinking we're all stupid.

Usually I don't care to write reviews but I felt I needed to make a special effort to warn consumers about the service at all... it's terrible I will not use this insurance company ever again this location is in Markham Allstate insurance, I have never missed a payment they took money from my account higher than my premium and will take forever or never refund you back your money. Please do not use this company I pursuing legal action I know it's a hastle but it's not fair honest business practices that they are conducting. The worst company I'v ever had to deal with in my life.

I was at an auto show and answered a questionnaire on an iPad about my then current insurance company. An agent contacted me shortly after and quoted me a rate that was much lower, so I switched over. I was also offered first accident forgiveness, among other things and was told that I had a traffic ticket that could be waived to get this stellar package. Low and behold, I had an accident 4 days later that was a total loss. Magically, I was not entitled to the accident forgiveness due to a traffic ticket that was on my record (yes, the one that was waived). I then realized that I was the victim of the old bate-and-switch sales tactic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bait-and-switch). I was appalled. For the next two and a half months, I went through pure hell trying to get my claim paid out. I brought this to the attention of the "manager" and was only made to feel like an a-hole in the end. She was quite a good debater and it was then that I realized there was nothing I could do and would never win this argument. Come my one year renewal, I was terminated from the policy with a balance owing that I was never even made aware of! Not once did they even make the slightest attempt to call my phone number that was in their system. This prompted them to send letters to my old address (I strictly remember updating them with my new one) and finally sending me to a collection agency. Dealing with Allstate was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had with ANY company in my 38 years of existing on this planet. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these shysters.

I have had nothing but problems with these guys. It's always one thing after another. They terminated my home insurance and removed collision on my car without any warning. You are just a number to these guys. Everything must be approved by a "manager" and that takes forever. Have heard way to many horror stories involving allstate

I have been with Allstate for over 15 years, gradually the rates went up and up. I was never ever contacted by my insurance agent, they just don't care. I wanted insurance for a summer trailer which I had to have and the agent I spoke to was rude and told me I had to wait for her supervisor (yes the original agent on my accounts) to return from vacation. Well this did not sit well with me. I contacted another company and had the insurance I wanted the same day, and a lot cheaper. I also had my car insurance with them and every year it went up and up, when I received my recent renewal it went up $500.00, I have never made a claim on either policy I had with them, and no help from my agent. I went with the company that I now have my home insurance, I saved over $700 a year. I do not recommend them.

You are not in good hands, When a insured of theirs hit my new car about $3k in damage, they accepted liability for the claim and then 3 days later after they had mailed out a check for me and said there was no way to deny fault which I have recorded because of previous losses with this company (ALLSTATE) Then they tell me they have someone looking in to the claim and this person decides to not to go to work for a week and no one else can work on the claim. So now I have to drive a busted car that pulls and is wearing out the tire now they wont return phone calls and there is a witness and they say they have tried to contact them and he is not answering BS they are the worst insurance company on earth. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TAKEN CARE OF IF SOMETHING HAPPENS DO NOT GO WITH ALLSTATE

They are cheaters. They committed me 40 dollars monthly discount on my car insurance when I bring home them to them. I purchased car insurance from them and after 6 months I ask for home insurance quote they quoted me double for home insurance and said now you are entitled for 40 discount.

Secondly they did not reimbursed me for damaged items during accident. I provided receipt but they said these items are not covered and items were my cell phone. They are cheaters.

It's a PATHETIC INSURANCE COMPANY, I request everybody please do not trust their wording, they are big liars, they play with their Wordings. Their Claim department is really PATHETIC. I had a really worst experience OF MY LIFE with ALLSTATE.
