This is simply a scammer who is stealing money from vehicle owners. Somebody hit me and ran and that company doesn't want to pay a penny for my vehicle damage. This not my fault and I had police report for that. AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THAT COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO REALLY SOMEONE TAKING CARE OF YOU WHEN YOU NEED THEM. I'D LOVE TO PAY LITTLE EXTRA AND GET REAL INSURANCE RATHER THAN BELAIRDIRECT SCAM
Never in the right mind, I ever thought my experience with our insurer would get this ugly! Having Belair as our insurer since at least 2008, we have never made a claim. And during the last snowstorm, we had an accident where a car smashed into us so hard that we got thrown in the opposite direction to be hit by the snow bulldozer. So, the insurance adjuster, one of the most unprofessional insurance adjusters we have seen in ages that barely speaks any English or French concluded that the whole accident should be broken down into 2 cases. One where we are not responsible because someone hit us from behind and the second one where we are actually at FAULT because as a result of the first accident we were thrown into the bulldozer! Dragged us for almost 2 and half months, not authorizing the garage to repair the car. He actually should have been a hockey broadcaster because every time had time to talk about hockey more than about our claim!??? Everyone in the right mind should avoid these scam artists! There is so much advertising about them lately. I think they are desperate to retain the ever-fleeing clientele! Who wants to be their client anyways!?
I have been a client since june 2007 and this insurance has been excellent in resolving my claim. Also i have checked around for cheaper insurance and no one has more bang for your buck than this company. So whoever has sour grapes you must be sour yourself.
Horrible overall experience. They wanted to void my claim just because I had a check airbag sign lit on. The thing that saved the day was the fact that I was not at fault, even if I had a 2 way complete coverage to start with. They have used every single tactic to low ball me on the value of my car. There are better choices for your hard earned money. Still lost money with them despite doing all the right thing.
I have been with Belair for a very long time for both home and auto. I have had a number of auto claims, mostly for glass, and have never had one single problem making a claim. The claims were handled professionally, quickly and fairly and my rates are still low. I definitely recommend Belair Insurance.
Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
I have been a costumer of belair direct for 1.5 years. Recently a electrical fire started in my vehicle, completely rendering my vehicle. When I first signed up with belair I was in a rush to get my policy started. The agent who sold me my policy did not clarify with me the certain coverage my policy had. Paying $2900 dollars I figured I had basic and comprehensive coverage, turns out the agent only listed me on for liability. I purchased my vehicle with a loan of $10000 and stated to the agent when I started my policy. At no point did they offer me any coverage to ensure I would be covered in any circumstances where the vehicle would be damaged or a loss. Since they do all their business over the phone, you will not see your policy package for a couple months. When they policy package came in the mail, looking over it I assumed based on what I was reading I had coverage for property damages. Turns out you really need to look at what BS they are sending you. This company is 100% a scam. All they care about is taking your money and putting it in their pockets. That's about the only thing they are good at doing. Now I am $8000 dollars in debt with no vehicle to get to and from work. Thanks Belair Direct!
I was involved in an accident where I was evidently not at fault. Sent them photos to prove it as well. Not only they condemned me to being partially at fault and destroyed my clean driving records, but after 10 years of being their royal costumer, they totally disregarded their "no premium change after first at fault accident" and increased my premium by 2.5 times.

If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.
Had an accident car valued at 20k repairing cost was 15k and they couldn't do a total loss it doesn't make sense other insurance companies will do a total loss tight away. Zahid B. worst claims supervisor ever very disrespectful and not cooperative with customer bad review 0 out of 100 for him. He swore and demanded to approve repairs for my vehicle

If someone could only realize to which point dishonest insurance can mess up your life. How you can end up losing your job when you work on a road and the insurance company takes 4 months to pay you off and you have no car. And how do you picture a sales representative with no car?
I work for a beer company and was involved in a car accident and just because I had few cans of UNOPENED beer in the trunk that I showcase my clients, they said that there is a possibility that I was drunk when I was involved in the accident.
After a month, they took the rental and I kept the rental for another month by paying for it. This is all what I could afford. (I just got out of a bankruptcy). Another month of borrowing friends' cars and until that was no longer either. Then had to quit my job and struggle for another month until they finally paid me. Now, have to restart everything since day 1. If you value your well-being, don't go with Belair or their shady owner Intact Assurance
