I have been with State Farm and now Desjardins for 54 years. They were a pleasure to deal with 3 agents in all that time. The agents are great. Recently, unfortunately, I submitted a claim in January for an accident that was not our fault. A car had just been certified and put on the road a Volkswagen Diesel. I have sent them information on cars going back as far as 2000 and they are more than what Desjardins is offering me. I used the guide from NADA North American Dealers Association. All Desjardins is offering is equivalent to Clean Trade-In Value/ I can not replace my car for this money. Claim Adjuster doesn't even know what an "AS IS" vehicle is compared to a "Certified Vehicle" I would give them a negative value but this app will not let me! Do Not deal with Desjardins they know you when they take your premiums but want nothing to do with you when you submit a claim!
