Never go with this insurance provider. They are awful. We cancelled our subscription, and they put us in collections for 40$ of some balance they thought we owe them. Do not do business with them.
After struggling with other insurance companies. Desjardins returned my email instantly. They got me a great quote with in an hour. And then had evening settled with in 2 hours. I highly recommend this company.

BIG scammers!!!
I got in an accident for the first time, and it’s not even my fault and my case is under investigation for the past 3 months.
Whenever I email my adjuster she keeps apologizing and saying that the case is still ongoing, I don’t even know until when and why it’s going on. They clearly told me to go pay for the storage fee, which doesn’t make any sense because I was not at fault, so I should not have to pay for anything.
I’m really disappointed with this auto insurance company, and I’d advise everyone DO NOT get insurance from this company, you’ll get scammed!!!!

It was my first time getting in an accident and I have been a customer of Desjardins for years, they were supposed to reimburse me for my claim, and they have yet to do so. This investigation has been ongoing for approximately three months now, they are not responding to my inquiries, and they keep apologizing to me. They don’t care to resolve my issue in a timely manner and have been disregarding my concerns.
I just got car insurance with Desjardins and the lady that helped me was just fabulous it went so smooth very easy, and she seemed very knowledgeable it was overall an exceptional experience I'm so grateful for the service I received.
Canceled my auto insurance with no waring and didn't inform me. I only found out when the next months payment didn't come out. The penalty for driving without insurance in Calgary Alberta is $10,000 and mandatory time in prison.

I will never recommend this place to anyone. They have messed up account information, and over charged.
We had to put a claim through, they took forever to send the money for the totalled vehicle. They also refused a loaner vehicle for the several weeks it took for them to send the cheque, even though that was something we were paying for.
When you have to leave this company because you can’t afford it anymore, they will charge you.
Very reliable car insurance, I recently had my car hit in a parking lot and the insurance was very attentive in processing the data and the whole process was favorable and efficient, they recommended an excellent shop and my car is like new. Very satisfied, and so I can recommend Desjardins as an excellent car insurance company.
