Insurance company backing down from their words. And not paying for the rental. Even after stating in the policy, they will cover. Gave me trouble even on not at-fault accident. Really bad experience I’ll have to pay 2k from my pocket just for rental.

Absolutely horrible experience!!!!
I would give zero stars if that was an option.
I have had exceptional service from previous insurance companies; however, Desjardin wins the prize for the worst insurance company (hands down).
I am speaking from my own experience here, but I have spent more of my time chasing down a decision on a claim. The adjuster (in my opinion) needs to seek employment in some other line of work.
You clearly do not know how to communicate, or for that matter make a decision. Reputable insurance companies do...I see why you work with Desjardin.

Rude and unprofessional

I was in an accident 4 days ago, I was not at fault, I was stopped at a red light, and was run into. So I had to deal with this joke company my adjuster from this insurance company, laughed at my claim and I was told I would deal with him, and I asked to speak with his supervisor and he said no and ended the call by hanging up, I tried calling him back but just got the answering machine. Discussing behaviour from a very unprofessional group of no-talent group of twits. I recommend you try different insurance companies before you sign with them. They also are recommending OEM parts put back on my Range Rover Evoque, it was in factory condition before the accident now it will have junkyard parts put on, we pay enough cash to grease companies like this, so really pass on any contract with them.

Insurance injury

The experience with this company has been awful... Yes, they are very fast to serve your needs on paper yet when the real work begins they are no place to be found for proper information and or getting things done in a timely manner.
My claim is still outstanding even though my adjuster knows what's going on and has done as little as possible to help my claim go through.

BIG scammers!!!
I got in an accident for the first time, and it’s not even my fault and my case is under investigation for the past 3 months.
Whenever I email my adjuster she keeps apologizing and saying that the case is still ongoing, I don’t even know until when and why it’s going on. They clearly told me to go pay for the storage fee, which doesn’t make any sense because I was not at fault, so I should not have to pay for anything.
I’m really disappointed with this auto insurance company, and I’d advise everyone DO NOT get insurance from this company, you’ll get scammed!!!!

Not Reimbursing me

It was my first time getting in an accident and I have been a customer of Desjardins for years, they were supposed to reimburse me for my claim, and they have yet to do so. This investigation has been ongoing for approximately three months now, they are not responding to my inquiries, and they keep apologizing to me. They don’t care to resolve my issue in a timely manner and have been disregarding my concerns.

Sertas is the worst RUN!!!!

I paid to get my car detailed, I have leather heated seats throughout. A few days after I got my car cleaned I went away in vacation and left my car in my dry underground parking garage for a few weeks. I came back to the worst mold infestation I and several other detailing companies have ever seen. Mold was on the steering wheel the side panelling of the door the seatbelts u name it. Obviously this was the fault of the detailer who must have used a compromised rag in my vehicle. I reported it to them, they dismissed my claim and didn’t go after the insurance of the shop instead told me take it to small claims this is why we pay for car insurance in this country for absolutely no reason we are being held hostage. We pay hundreds each month and they get to pick and choose when they help.

I had another claim where I was victim of hit and run and also struck directly by the driver as I was trying to take picture of their plate which I did get as well as make and model. The police were involved collision reporting informed of a site the insurance company could use to get the insurance details of the offending driver they refused to do so and I was left paying the deductible even thought there is a detective assigned to the case b/c of the damage and the assault. This is the help you get, you’re left paying they don’t investigate or seek justice for their customers they just take thousands from u each year and u never have peace of mind with having them as your broker. Run away!!!

If you want to be treated as the victim buy this insurance

I was reared and it was obviously not my fault. They classified me a minor injury claim and I needed more treatment after my treatment plan expired. I was still in pain and they denied me claim. Instead they hired a private investigator follow me and watch my house. They intentionally prolonged my suffering!

The worst customer service.

I had an accident more than a month ago. During the accident happened and entire time that the police had arrived at the scene, I was talking to the insurance agent on the phone, and at her suggestion, I moved my car to a towing parking lot, but after more than a month, the insurance company did not take my car out of the towing parking lot and didn’t transferred it to the repair shop. And every time I call, they just say they're sorry and say they'll be back soon, but they don't do anything else.
