We have an existing wood fireplace that previous insurers would not cover without penalty but CDI did. They offer discounts for multiple policies and offer rewards program points.

CDI has competitive home insurance prices, and they have a good reputation.

We have been with them for years. Unfortunately for us we didn't realize we were paying almost double for our insurance. Found alternate insurance for half the price. We couldn't believe it.
When it came time to cancel they are putting the first payment with the service charge on a PAC through our bank. Be careful. Make sure you give them proper notice for cancellation if you are on PAC, otherwise they will charge you and then reimburse you.
