I got in a car accident on Friday the 17th and was not my fault. I've been calling since Monday and no answer and/or update on our rental or car 🤬🤬🤬 I would not recommend Allstate and we better get our answers soon

The absolute worse company to go with. We were in an accident last Thursday and we have still heard absolutely nothing from their part. We call 20 times a day to just get transferred to Veronique's voicemail where she doesn't even have the human decency to call back.
Our car is currently not in good shape to drive and when we called them to let them know that we needed this resolved as soon as possible the reception does not even care.
Veronique is absolutely terrible and clearly does not know how to do her job.
Avoid this company at all costs. You pay for a service that you do not even get.

This insurance company is so terrible... They never answer calls, never return emails, never return your calls... Claims services is very unprofessional they do not have the courtesy to at least reply to your email regarding the status of your claim. I have been waiting for more than 3 weeks just to know the status of my claim and NO ANSWER OR REPLY from any email I sent and voice mail I left!

Got in a car accident a week ago and still haven’t heard from my agent lol. Call daily to get no response. Insane how bad their service is!

We submitted a claim for auto insurance and since then it's been about a month, 8 phone calls and 3 emails and we cannot find anyone who can assist us with our claim. Any agent we speak to directs us to the agent in charge of the file who is M.I.A. Another agent assured me that my file was placed in the urgent section and still no call within a week. Worst people to deal with, unfriendly, unprofessional and flat-out terrible at their jobs. Crooks who take your money and do not help you out. Absolute garbage of a company. If I could rate them 0 stars I would.

We have had a good experience with Allstate until it came time to make a claim.
This bad experience was not entirely them, also with the police, adjuster and repair shop in Calgary.
Firstly, the police who came to the scene did not file the report, the lady that backed up into us did not have insurance, she showed the cop a fake insurance paper from her phone and that was good enough for him. The adjusters avoid us for months and then came back and said “well she said it wasn’t her fault”. I don’t even know if they are going after her for the bill.
We had the car into the repair shop the invoice said there was a wheel align, ent done, we had to take the vehicle into a repair shop and have them do it. All around just a bad experience, and I guess nowadays you can get away with not having insurance, b/c this lady got away with it.
I like our insurance agent, he always answered our questions right away and did what he could but was limited.

I was in a no-fault accident in 2015. Allstate stonewalled me and then denied I had ever made a claim. Their ombudsman refused to answer my emails. Years later the truth is they only contacted me once at an old phone number I wasn't using and deleted the file. When I would call they would tell me I didn't have a claim. After two years there's nothing you can do but that was the game they were playing all along.

They will not call you, and when your car is stolen and you file a claim they will avoid you the whole time and not call you back once. It has been over 2 months and my fiancé hasn’t heard anything about his car... It was a total loss, and they have yet to call us about a settlement. Worst communication skills ever.

The first evaluator said that the accident was no fault. Then he left the company. And his replacement was re-evaluated almost more than a month later and said it was 100% at fault. Meanwhile, the collision centre fixed the vehicle under the assumption that it was at no fault based on the paperwork that was sent to them by Allstate. Unprofessionalism at its best.

I have a claim with them and every time I deal with them it's painful. They might be cheaper in the first year or whatever but the premiums will rise fast and the stress and HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE is not worth it.

Had a claim for our car. Hit a deer. It took months to settle. A lot of passing the buck and no one answering our calls. The "preferred" body shop was beyond terrible. It took us threatening lawyers and taking legal action for them to finally move our car to a good shop and get it repaired. Stress, headache and terrible customer service.

Have many more examples but there is limited space.

RUN! RUN! RUN away as fast as you can. If you choose Allstate you get what you deserve... which is a terrible experience.
