Agents focus on the sale, after sales are done they don’t bother to respond.
I’ve been with Allstate for many years, the prices are very good. However, the service is horrible when you claim damages. I claimed front damage repair for my vehicle and I was told to wait for five business days to get answers from an adviser. Unfortunately, after a month, I got nothing! I called the advisor three times and he didn’t want to answer the phone, I left a message and still no response. I paid insurance for three vehicles so many years without any claim and they don’t want to cover the damage!

I called a week and a half ago and was told to go online to cancel my auto insurance. Today I had to call them back to actually cancel and speak to someone. I again called them back and Antonia was quite dismissive and condescending. I asked to talk to a supervisor or manager to complain and request that tapes be pulled to validate. She said it’s not possible to speak to anyone but she can give me the ombudsman phone number. Seriously???
I thought Allstate actually cared about clients and having an optimal team, it is clearly stated over and over as I waited on hold. Perhaps some customer care training is required for the front line.
Horrible customer service, definitely do not care about customers at all.
The best part of dealing with Allstate was talking to Yosra, she was professional, patient, helpful, polite and super nice.
Until I talked to her I was going to change insurance companies, my experience with the adjuster was not good.

I was a customer for 13 years I had three cars and I wanted to add one more car. The agent made a mistake and didn’t give my money back then I try to cancel. The agent didn’t care. He cancelled my insurance with my home insurance. I found the cheaper insurance
If any company doesn’t value your money, don’t give them.
Don't use Allstate. They're the worst!
I paid every month for my car insurance and when I have an accident they denied my claim and they even didn't let me know! Either
they make money from you...
If there is a zero here I would choose it. It’s already been months since my car got stolen and the adjuster assigned to me called me only once. I need updates on what is happening and what's gonna happen next. It is really tiring to call claim services for almost every day and they just gonna tell you to call your adjuster who doesn’t care. It’s so frustrating.
I had the worst experience with Allstate.
I had a minor ticket (Failed to carry insurance paper while driving), as that was a rental car, and the rental agency took the papers out while cleaning and forgot to put that back. So I get the ticket which was paid for by the rental company.
But I had no idea that time it will show up on my license.
To prove this I had to share all my chats and screenshots with Allstate.
I did that and they asked me to pay for the policy to start. I did the payment a day before my insurance start date. They called me to increase my premium by $600cad.
I told them to cancel my policy and they called back and said ok we will keep it the same.
I did not know my vehicle after a total loss was still being charged and went into renewal charging me double the amount for a car I did not own anymore... ALEJANDRA agent of Ontario helps me get a full refund! The best person ever!
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Allstate insurance company. They abruptly cancelled our contract without any prior notice, leaving us driving for over a month without coverage. Despite paying in full, they offered no apology or satisfactory explanation, attributing the cancellation to an agent's mistake. If we had an accident during that time, it would have been disastrous. When we asked for reinstatement as per our contract, they demanded we sign up for a new year at double the cost, blaming the cancellation on their end. To add insult to injury, they insisted on a cancellation fee from us. Our attempts to resolve the issue with multiple agents and a request to speak to a manager went unanswered for days. I am appalled by their lack of accountability and deceitful practices. It's best to avoid this company as they seem to have no qualms about taking advantage of people and breaking contracts without remorse.
