Change from Allstate Insurance to another one because of poor customer services. They still owe me 385 dollars and it's been 4 months I'm waiting for it. Never ever go to Allstate's. Worst insurance company ever.
Put me on pay 4 months in advance every 2 months, after being on a monthly plan for years! I contacted them asking “why they go ahead and decided and this plan would be acceptable to me?!” Then the response I received was “ there was a glitch and they don’t offer this kind of plan any longer!” So I paid for 4 months then I received another bill for the second part asking me to pay for additional 4 months in advance! So, I paid for the month that was due, then since they are slippery they sent back the payment via cheque citing the payment was late and they wanted me to pay for a plan that they “ no longer have!”
This is one company that I do not endorse, they are also involved in violating privacy laws!
If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.
If you are looking for insurance coverage for anything, please do not go with ALLSTATE. I have the worst experience. Had a minor not-at-fault accident in November, called and put in a claim and up to today February 17th not a single person has called me. Employees are so incompetent that I call every other week and not a single person knows what is going on with my claim. The claim adjuster I was given has never called me, I was asked to call his manager, I did leave multiple messages yet no callback. They made me drive an accident car without a tow truck to the collision place they asked me to drop the car. They took my car since November, I don't have a car to use and the worst part, they are still charging my account monthly for insurance coverage. I was even advised by one employee to escalate further as this is really unprofessional. Oh well, I did and was given an escalation number. Yet no one called me. Please do yourself a favor DO NOT USE ALLSTATE INSURANCE.
I placed a claim and after more than a month still no clear answer from them. They even don't answer their phone or return a message or calls.
Very poor service!
I was with them for 12 years and I had 1 hit and run claim and they dragged me 1 year with it until they decided there not gonna pay for it! That's just to show you that they like taking your money but they will do anything not to pay you for damages.

Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
Bad service in a claim. No one even calls me back and my claim it’s been Sept 2021 until now nothing... They keep saying they will call me back but no one is calling me back and when I call no one able to take my call. What is this company?
As long as you're just paying them and not using their services for anything, Allstate seems good. But, once you make a claim or want to use the roadside assistance service that you paid for, expect to be disappointed.
It took 4 weeks for me to get a response from an agent AFTER I filed a claim for an incident I was involved in! 4 WEEKS just for a response!
I have two vehicles, one I drive in summer and take off the road in the winter (my summer car). Said summer car was involved in the incident and I needed to arrange to have it towed to the body shop, as I wasn't able to book it in until winter when this car is off the road (so I can't just drive it there). I had previously purchased AllState's Roadside Assistance services for both of my vehicles, and when I did that, I explained my situation to the customer care agent and was ensured that I'd be able to have my summer car towed to the body shop for the repairs and that I just needed to call 1 hour before I need it towed to arrange it.... so that's exactly what I did. I called RYAN at Roadside Assistance (Ontario) and explained the situation and (attempted to) book the tow, only to be rudely told that they would NOT be towing my vehicle because it was damaged (rear quarter panel dented due to said incident that I filed a claim for and was having repaired through my Allstate INSURANCE!). This didn't sit well with me and ended up turning into quite an argument between Ryan and myself. So I asked Ryan if I called to have my other car towed (for whatever reason) and my driver's door has a dent in it are you not going to tow it because it has an irrelevant dent? And his response was, "NO, we wouldn't tow it."..... So, I asked him to send me documentation that proves what he's telling me is true and he denied to do so. He also denied transferring my call through to customer service OR putting me through to a manager. He also was rude and threatening to "flag" my account! After that, I called Customer Service again and explained everything to them, they ensured me that I could have my car towed, transferred me through to a different Roadside Assistance agent and that agent arranged the tow without any issues whatsoever! I'm extremely upset and disappointed with AllState, and RYAN at Roadside Assistance is a horrible person to deal with and should be fired immediately for his actions. This whole situation has been a complete nightmare from the day I filed my claim. I'll be getting my car fixed and looking into some other insurance companies. Hopefully, I can find one that still values and respects their customers.
If you like to waste 3 hours of your time waiting for making a claim, then go with this company.
No customer orientation. Overall horrible service, they keep transferring you without any help.
Worst experience!
I returned my lease, got a new car and switched insurance companies. Not only did Allstate continue to take monthly payments from me, they never cancelled my policy. I called, and the representative said I had to show proof that I returned my car (never ever have I heard of this, it usually takes a verbal confirmation and that’s it), so I had to find this document, and send it to customer support at Allstate.com and explain what happened a second time.
I receive a confirmation email and didn’t hear from them afterwards. I sent a 2nd email asking if my file was closed and still didn’t hear anything so I decided to call back. Another representative took more notes of my file and said that it would be taken care of shortly. I finally receive another email confirmation, but they took ANOTHER PAYMENT from me. I emailed another time saying express my frustration ESPECIALLY SINCE THE HOLIDAYS ARE RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER and I received an email saying “your case is being treated”. They open in 43 mins, and I’m going to call back and complain and waste my time some more. I hate my experience with Allstate and I do not recommend it.
First time dealing with them on a not a fault claim. Two weeks no responses, the car cannot be driven, no return calls or return emails.
Service is terrible so no matter how good a deal seems there is always a more expensive reason why...
