Aviva Auto Insurance Reviews

I never ever recommend this insurance for anyone, totally irresponsible, without any reason premium increased too high, so decided to change this company for that we asked for an experience letter.
I had a claim 7 years ago that was a hit-and-run, there was witness police sent the right report, surprisingly on this experience letter Avila mentioned that that incident was totally my fault and I lost control… so ridiculous… how can we trust this people.
Never recommend this insurance. There customers service very poor, they don’t know what they are doing and what to do.
I don’t want to give even 1 star.

Called in Aviva this morning and was given the option to text, which I chose as it’s more convenient. Was really amazed by the unprofessional team running the chat. I have been working in customer service for more than 10 years and never experienced this.
The agent responded to my text saying-
1. Please advise them to send in photos time stamped for review. Thank you for using the Auto text chat.
2. Until we receive photos from the tow service team we can not make any decisions on additional repair coverage, we apologize if this is not the answer you were looking for.

Firstly, while I was chatting the agent just shut down the conversation saying thank you for using our chat whereas I was not done yet. Secondly, was given this blunt response apologizing if it’s not the answer you were looking for, where I was just asking n raising my concern on the claim.

REALLY DISAPPOINTED AND WOULDN’T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THEIR CHAT SERVICE.

Price got from 102 a month to 172 a month after the first year. And they even cover less than the first year. What a scam.

1st not my fault but took way too long to settle and was told outcome would come in a week. 3 months+ later. Now waiting on another claim and they cannot be found. Horrible service for the money spent. My brokers are doing the best they can, but this company is terrible, and I agree with the warning of others recommending going else where. Anywhere for that matter than Aviva. Take a chance with that dodgy company from India before trusting these folks. More or less at least some factors in play.

I have been disgusted by Aviva, there staff are ignorant and abusive and the simply fail to respond to claims in a reasonable time frame.
I had a vehcile accident on the 6th of October 2023, I filed a claim on the 20th of October 2023... it is now almost 6 months later on the 28th of March 2024 and the ignorant and incompentant staff will simple not respond to a request for an update.
I have send over 20 emails on an almost weekly basis and every single email is ignored.
These people are horrible, ignorant, rude and simply people who go about their lives punishing others and blaming others for their own unhappiness.
DO NOT PURCHASE AVIVA CAR INSURANCE - THEY IGNORE CLAIMS.

Horrible appraiser! First they offer $3,000 on an $18,000 car.
Then take 4 weeks to say it can't be repaired as subframe isn't available in North America. So will give me $3,600 to source a frame overseas and arrange repairs myself.
Yeah, $3,600 isnt even close to enough. And a wrecking yard subframe? That sounds safe.

The worst customer service, racist and unethical for a lack of better words. I wanted to cancel my policy they inform me they will increase. They wouldn't let me. But the can do what they want. Where is their office back in some 3rd world?

I've been waiting on hold for over an hour with the customer service department for my auto insurance. Is this wait time normal? It's concerning because it raises questions about the company's dedication to serving its customers.

I've noticed that Aviva has received very poor reviews. Does the company take these reviews seriously? Will they take steps to address the issues raised by valued customers?

I appreciate your assistance in addressing these concerns.
