I compared many rates but TD Insurance had the lowest one for my age and driving experience. All other providers were significantly more expensive. Their callcenter folks are quite knowledgable and explained me all the coverage details.
I also had some claim experience with them when that old gentlemen T-boned my car in the downtown of Toronto. TD Insurance agent was not very helpful on the phone, but the whole claim process went quite smooth: I got comparable rental car for 4 weeks until my car was fixed. My rates did not go up since I was not at fault. So I am quite happy with TD Insurance so far. Meanwhile their rates started climbing a bit every year though...
