My claim was hit&run, TD insurance expert reported not hit and run. They kept my car for two months and charged me for two months. Finally, after two months their engineers said it was hit by a hard object, the adjuster called me by soft voice said sorry, take it out otherwise pay for parking.

By far the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with!!! They're just money-hungry people, you would have thought that because you are paying a well-known bank that you will be fine and everything. Well in this case TD isn’t!! They are good in their day-to-day banking needs and business banking but not for auto insurance. Still waiting for my car to be fixed and it’s been a whole month, haven’t been approved and then to top it’s they missed up on my address so my premium amount changed. I had to pay a cancellation fee for me to leave this stupid insurance and get a better quote from somewhere else. STAY AWAY FROM TD INSURANCE!

Not just worst insurance company out there. But this is one of the worst companies you will ever have to deal with in your life and the customer service is beyond atrocious. I went through an absolute nightmare in the claims process in which they would not budge at all on their offer even though I showed many comparable vehicles for more. Just to add a vehicle, or get your summer vehicle from fire/theft insurance back to full, will take you min 45 min to an hour if you are lucky. The company literally gets slower and less efficient every time I have to deal with them. Even their music while you are on hold will quiet down like someone may have come to the phone then it triples in volume and just blasts in your ear. I almost swear this company is trying to make this experience as unpleasant as possible it is that obviously terrible.

I made a claim 2 months ago and it is still not finalized.
I have been charged premiums for 2 additional months so far and the insurance adjuster does not respond to any of my messages as to why I am still being charged.
They lost my business on the new car I just purchased.

They will only fix parts of your vehicle they want to and not all the issues that were affected by the accident. Then tell you that area was not caused by the accident and won't fix it. I messaged them about it over a year ago they kept saying they will get back to me then they just say no were not fixing it because it is rusted so it wasn't caused by the accident. It is rusted because it's been a year I'm waiting!

They refuse to pay a claim as they give you the run around for over a year but still take their money out of your bank account for over a year on a vehicle that you don't even have anymore. It still hasn't been resolved.

I tried to call them, the system put me on hold for 20 min and then dropped the line. It happened 2 times. I greatly regret that I brought my lightly damaged luxury car to TD Insurance claim centre. They said that they will assess the damage on-site, instead, they just confiscated my car! They sold my car to somebody shop in Burlington and offered compensation to me that was not matching the car value. The process was slow, took about 3 weeks to negotiate compensation with them and another couple of weeks to get the money.

TD Insurance is the worst insurance in the world! I made a claim in May 2020 and didn’t get my claim dealt with till September 2020! Do Not Insure Your Car Or Anything With TD.

I had a tree fall on a trailer insured on its maiden voyage. I previously had insured a tent for 7 years. The first call they claimed it wasn’t insurance. The next call they figured out their error. Took them a month to appraise. So we purchased a cover to protect the dime-size hole made by a puncture. Well, they don’t patch! They replace so a new roof writes off the trailer. Useless insurance company. It was out one day and they claim it devalued 1100$. A very expensive night!

Recently I had got into an accident and filed my claim and after called them so many times and trying to reach them which is the hardest thing. You cannot reach these scammers easily my claim is still pending for the past 5 months and now the adjuster told me they are denying my claim as they told me my car damage did not happen from an accident when I told them I want to take my car fix myself and sort this myself they told me I can pick my car. Apparently, there is a 6000$ storage charge in my car and they killed my car value and the worst part they lied that they want to keep the car in their yard as it won't cost any storage but my car is in some auto shop in Toronto. Really fraud and scamming insurance company. I will go to court for this but people stay away from them they are fraudsters. I want to give them 0 stars but there is no option for it.
