Adjuster Adam B is brutal

We had recently put through a claim on our auto insurance policy for a not-at-fault accident. To say our experience with TD Insurance has been a nightmare is an understatement. Our adjuster Adam refused to answer phone calls, ignored emails for days, lied about sending out a payout check and even went against TD's own policy. We will 100% be switching insurance providers immediately and I strongly advise anyone reading this to stay far away from TD Insurance. Insurance is affordable however it's when you put in a claim that the nightmare begins.

No one at TD Insurance cares about you

0 stars isn't an option. Anything that was accomplished on my claim was solely because I did it. I went through 4 advisors over 2.5 months and they're all completely lost. My last 2 advisors were with a 3rd party company and in a different time zone. One advisor refused to use a phone. Multiple mistakes, had to explain how my policy works to the advisors. Save your money for a company that will at least do some work. I've been waiting 2 months for 2 separate escalation calls. Service doesn't exist here. No one at TD Insurance cares about you.

Complex loss specialist

No communication, no response, lack of professionalism. The individual had not responded to phone calls or my emails ( which I left well more than 20). This individual only responded when one of their co-workers called me and sounded disturbed that this agent had not communicated properly.

Recent claim adjusters refuse to be objective

TD representative before she had the police report. Before she had pictures of the vehicles. Deemed both parties would be 50 percent liable as there was no video evidence, eyewitnesses and conflicting statements. Then she wanted to know which body shop using...Then after not returning my calls for a week called the body shop and asked them to take pictures of the interior as they want to write the car off...

Not Good

As the owner of a body shop for over 40 years, this has got to be the absolute worst experience I've had dealing with an insurance company. An adjuster who has an outdated voicemail message on his machine and doesn't return calls, an imaging desk you cannot reach because their mailbox is full, a claims department you cannot reach, and an operator who is not there and that mailbox is full as well. What a GONG SHOW!!! It's a pretty sad way to run a business.

Incredibly frustrating

My claim has been open for two weeks and there has been no progress at all. Even getting the adjuster to communicate with me has been awful.

We will be changing our insurance company as soon as this is all over, and I will never EVER go with TD Insurance again.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Horrible service

My agent didn’t send the check to Active Green and Ross, he didn’t contact me for three working days and when he did he said my case got transferred to another agent and for me to contact the other agent. So unprofessional and disrespectful.

Avoid like a plague

This is a deeply flawed and incompetent insurance. It is all about bumping up the premium at the slightest opportunity. The adjusters are all in the game. Don't let big name fool you. Any other insurance is light year better. I don't understand how a 100% fault judged by the police and at fault driver's insurance against the reckless driver would suddenly changed to 50/50 by TD insurance overnight. Awarding a 50% at fault against me for nothing is a very clear case of pure injustice for profit at all cost. Worse still didn't get to know until about a year renewal date and outrageous premium. My advice? Look else where if you want to keep your sanity. They will make you pay. My dealings with them comes to an end and will never recommend this bunch of incompetent people parading themselves as professionals.

If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.

2 Months... still not finalized

I made a claim 2 months ago and it is still not finalized.
I have been charged premiums for 2 additional months so far and the insurance adjuster does not respond to any of my messages as to why I am still being charged.
They lost my business on the new car I just purchased.
