My Car was vandalized and I made the mistake of making a claim with TD. I have to say this is my first claim in my life. I have a pretty good driving record and have been driving for 10 years. No claims what so ever. When my new car was vandalized I called TD and the agent was quick enough to set a claim up. But then came hell. My claim adjuster never called me. He never replied to my mails. And to my sock TD will not even cover some of the thing that I am paying for. I have been wtih TD for a year now and was very happy until now.
TD is good as long as you pay then in time and don't claim for anything. The moment you make a claim its like marriage gone bad. Everything is down the hill.
Note: Please do not take to any assured TD collision center coz its a complete rip off.
Your auto rates are way out of line for a person with an excellent driving record.

I have fired TD twice. Both times were due to low rates coming in ad then them jacking rates way up on renewal. This last time they raised my homeowners 57% with no claims ever on anything, they also raised my auto 22%. Two cars, home and two snowmobiles insured with this company. I got an online quote posing as a new customer for all my property at 3% less than my renewal. The agent was unable to provide any reason for the rate hikes and gave convoluted answers. I switched again this year and saved $1700.00 by not accepting their renewal. I will however get them to quote me again the future. Last time I fired them the reason I returned was due to the rates, they actually insured me for less than any others at that time but pulled what seems to be their standard MO of jacking rates on renewals. I have 35 years of driving, no accidents or tickets in over 25 years and not one home owners claim ever. I am an insurers best customer, but was treated like an idiot.
