Stalling claims

This company never wants to help their clients as what they're advertising. Stalling my claim for a month now. I had an accident last July 15 2022 and now it's already Aug. 15, 2022. I was not at fault the cube van hits my rear passenger side and almost spins my car on Gardiner highway, which could cost our lives, my son and I. I just want to fix the broken window and lights for my car so it would be road worthy and I can go to work safely but the claim representative never answers her phone nor call me back when I leave a message to call me back. So disappointed with this company, they take your money on schedule but try to avoid you when you're in need of help...

Questionable repairs

Refused to warranty any work done on my car after repair shop fixed it. Told me that was not their responsibiliy and they also told me they reserve the right to use used parts from a salvage yard...

Terrible communication for claims

I have never experienced such horrible service! I had a claim and would email my adjuster and NEVER get a response. I finally got an offer for my claim after speaking to someone else and was told I had to return my rental car immediately but I am still waiting for my cheque almost two weeks later!!!

Bad experience to get a claim after stolen car

Belairdirect isn't concerned when the car is stolen.

I was told by Katylyn Enterprise Car will reach out to me yesterday about the rental car, which didn't happen. Later in the evening another agent Ibrahim told me I have to reach out to them and that's when he shared the no with me.

I reach out to Enterprise car Brampton and they say they do not have a car till Monday next week. What am I supposed to do? How will I run my errands, drop and pick up my daughter from camp? Does all become my problem now?

The agent on the call told me I have a maximum limit of $ 45 per day if I rent a car directly, what cars do you get in $ 45 nowadays...

I managed to find someone at the airport with a car finally but was quoted a much higher rate, who will pay the difference in the amount? I want a solution to the problem? I don't have the time to speak to the call center every time and not get any answers... They only say wait for the adjuster to call you, we can't do anything...

Ridiculous service... Very bad for someone who is already in trouble. No one is bothered to call you to see if you have a replacement car if your claim getting passed.

Worst insurance! They shouldn't be in business!

I have an ongoing Auto claim from March that is yet to be resolved. Getting information from the claims adjuster is a big hustle and every time I call they say he will call me back. It's been 3 months and I haven't heard from him.

I have an existing not-at-fault claim and the damage is very minor but several months after the accident, the estimate is still being processed. When they withdraw money from your account, they are either on time or a few days early. Stay away from this insurance company.

Accident forgiveness a farce, etc.!

My wife and I have been Belairdirect customers for many years. In 2016, we had 2 unfortunate accidents. However, we were informed that, given our policy, these would be forgiven, one to my wife, the other to me. On the first renewal date, this appeared to be the case: No insurance increases. The following year “they changed their mind”, however, attributing both accidents to me. When I followed up, I simply was told that that’s what was decided and there’s nothing further they could do. A “reward” of customer loyalty!?
We’ve also had poor claims experiences. The worst was with respect to one accident that was not our fault. We took the vehicle to one of Belairdirect’s preferred collision repair shops. Although the repair appeared to have been performed properly, there were several customer service issues. And the interior of the vehicle was filthy when I picked it up afterwards. Not too long thereafter we had another no-fault accident. Given the previous experience, we chose to have the vehicle repaired by a shop that came recommended by others. After starting the repair, this shop noticed that the entire previous repair had not been done properly (e.g., the entire area was rusted) and had to be completely redone! Since then, we’ve never again accepted Belairdirect’s offer to have any repairs done by a preferred shop.
We’ve only remained with Belairdirect because of all the bad experiences others have had with other insurance companies and shared with us over the years.

Claims department

I’m so disappointed in Belairdirect... I submitted a claim for theft of parts on April 26th, 2022 as someone tried to steal my catalytic converter and sawed into the underneath of my car wrecking not only my exhaust but sawed into my torsion bar and my frame. It took them 3 weeks to get it towed away and when they did tow it they weren’t even sure where it was towed to. There has been no effort to reach out to me in the process I’ve spent countless hours trying to get in touch with my adjuster who just seems too busy to have me on her workload and didn’t care when I finally got in touch with her to help resolve my issues... I’ve had to reach out to the repair shop and other claim department workers to see what’s going on and still, nobody has any solid answers. It took a complaint against the company and my adjuster for the company to reach out to me and didn’t even have a solid answer for me then. I’m embarrassed for the company and their low customer satisfaction/service and after this is all said and done I will not be insured with the company again.

Online Quotes are a joke! Customer Service doesn't exist!

I did the online quote then spoke with an agent. The quote then doubled so I looked at other companies and found a MUCH better policy that offered a lot more for less premium. Immediately requested Belairdirect to cancel the transaction and they took money out of my bank account, despite me placing a stop payment. I have made several attempts to recover this money and as of right now, they have not refunded my money and continue to try to take monthly premiums from my bank account. I have received a response that someone is "looking into" this matter, yet it does not appear they are doing that. I cancelled everything on Apr.20/22 and it is now June 4/22.
A very despicable way of doing business!
