Worst company to exist

2 not at fault accidents (1 last year and another this year. Both times vehicle was parked at home) To start off with this company, you will not get any information about the status of your vehicle because nobody at their offices have any idea what they are doing. (They lost my vehicle last year for a few days...). Took 2 months of them sitting on it to tell me they would repair then 2 weeks later called to say they were no longer fixing it. ( again not at fault and they had no reason not to fix it). Now for this year.. so far been 1.5months with no word and again their office staff needs replacing. Save yourself the headache. If its between no insurance or desjardins.. pick no insurance it will be less headache.

Sertas is the worst RUN!!!!

I paid to get my car detailed, I have leather heated seats throughout. A few days after I got my car cleaned I went away in vacation and left my car in my dry underground parking garage for a few weeks. I came back to the worst mold infestation I and several other detailing companies have ever seen. Mold was on the steering wheel the side panelling of the door the seatbelts u name it. Obviously this was the fault of the detailer who must have used a compromised rag in my vehicle. I reported it to them, they dismissed my claim and didn’t go after the insurance of the shop instead told me take it to small claims this is why we pay for car insurance in this country for absolutely no reason we are being held hostage. We pay hundreds each month and they get to pick and choose when they help.

I had another claim where I was victim of hit and run and also struck directly by the driver as I was trying to take picture of their plate which I did get as well as make and model. The police were involved collision reporting informed of a site the insurance company could use to get the insurance details of the offending driver they refused to do so and I was left paying the deductible even thought there is a detective assigned to the case b/c of the damage and the assault. This is the help you get, you’re left paying they don’t investigate or seek justice for their customers they just take thousands from u each year and u never have peace of mind with having them as your broker. Run away!!!

If you want to be treated as the victim buy this insurance

I was reared and it was obviously not my fault. They classified me a minor injury claim and I needed more treatment after my treatment plan expired. I was still in pain and they denied me claim. Instead they hired a private investigator follow me and watch my house. They intentionally prolonged my suffering!

Dont Waste your Money

We were with State Farm for 5 Years before they were bought out by Desjardin Insurance. Desjardin Insurance is not customer oriented. We stayed with them for another 5 years but every year they kept increasing insurance and asked for more and more information. We had no claim for 10 years. They started putting restrictions on use of commercial vehicles so we switched to another insured with better rates, service and have no issues now. Don't waste one penny of your money with this company. Stay away.

Breach of the contract

Desjardins gave me an insurance for $180/month, after everything is done, they told me $199/month and said u have to download our ajusto app. What a scam company!!!

The worst customer service.

I had an accident more than a month ago. During the accident happened and entire time that the police had arrived at the scene, I was talking to the insurance agent on the phone, and at her suggestion, I moved my car to a towing parking lot, but after more than a month, the insurance company did not take my car out of the towing parking lot and didn’t transferred it to the repair shop. And every time I call, they just say they're sorry and say they'll be back soon, but they don't do anything else.

Their customer service is horrible. They lowball. The agent that I was dealing with was terrible. Did not respond to any emails. I would not recommend them.

Terrible pricing and cancelation fee

I've been with with company for awhile I do not like how they work. Canceling was such a hassle and on top I had to pay 1 month premium for canceling on the Sept. 1 when I pay 25th of every month. I would not recommend this company. Overall the experience is not even mediocre.

Extremely poor service

Where to begin? Let’s just start off with, don’t just go to the cheapest place you find. Had a claim that took almost 2 years to finish.
There’s just always and I mean always no answers for anything. It’s always talking to this person and they say talk to this person and then they’re on holiday for 6 weeks. I would give this company a zero-star rating if that was an option. If you reading this trying to decide what insurance company to use, please stop reading and go to the next one on the list or you will regret it.

Desjardin advisors LIE and low ball settlements

Our vehicle was written off not at fault. Dejardin auto insurance advisors offered a settlement of $7500 dollars tax included. I asked them why so low. The multiple advisors said they can only find 2 to compare to our vehicle. They all clearly said "We payout based of off market value compared to what is available. I did a quick search online with the advisor over the phone and found the same model and make but the years were 1 year newer and 1 year older but the KM was 100k + more. The advisor said "You can't compare apples to oranges. You must compare apple to apple." Fair enough. I finally found 2 with 1) the same year 2) the same model 3) KM is a few thousand off. Priced at $12,500 + tax with $2900 under value. I reached out to Dejardin and guess what happens next? The advisor said "The appraiser compared our vehicle to a 2010 model and the max they can give us is $8000 + tax included" Does this sound like a fair settlement and paid based on market value? They are not fair and LIE to customers not at fault.
