Worst company, I called them a thousand times, they never called me back for my payment, they cancelled my contract and now they charge me operational fees. If you want to save some time, don't ever go there !!!
I had a flood in my house and the cause was an old joint solder because the house is built in 1968. The insurance company told me that it's due to freeze, even before checking it. Then they sent their inspector, and when he saw the pipe, he told me no its not due to freeze, its due to bad old joint solder, between them saying it was a freeze and then sending the inspector, 3 weeks had already passed. Then they said ok, you are covered, then, after 2 weeks, they resent me a SURPRISE letter saying that they will send an engineer to recheck the pipes. And, of course, the engineer came and while we were talking he said they sent me to try to find something cause the bill is too big for them and of course his judgment was favor to the insurance. So now its been about 9 months back and forth, I brought my own engineer and he said, no, it is not freeze. So now I am waiting for their response after that if they are still on their idea, I’m going to court. Worst insurance ever.

My insurance broker of 27 years suddenly became a Promutual Agent. They assured me they were the most reasonable company and I should stay with them. During a wind storm, a live branch broke off a healthy tree and damaged my neighbour's shed (small claim of < $5000). The claim took almost 1 year to settle during which time I received several letters from the neighbour's insurance company demanding payment and threatening legal action. (not cool and the Promutual Claims adjuster said it was normal)... Finally, they settled and Promutual paid. I asked for a letter of confirmation and never got it. Then, a year later, I get an inspection (called a prevention visit) during which quite a lot of issues were found some justifiable and some less so, nevertheless I was fully prepared to make all the requested repairs, but instead 3 weeks letter I get a phone call cancelling my insurance and giving me only 15 days to find a new company. A situation is extremely stressful. Not enough time for me to make the necessary repairs. (In the US they give you 45 days) If you have an older home that is always needing repairs, beware.
