This company is glad to take your payments but unlikely will honour your policy if you make a claim. The claims adjuster will make some kind of damage estimate and that is all you will ever hear from them. No one will ever process your claim. You are done and Peace Hills is done with you. I became the executor of my sister's estate. I found out that Peace Hills insurance had double the square footage of her home and subsequently had overcharged the home insurance for more twenty years. It amounted to about twice as much as she would normally would have paid.

When it came time to renew the policy, they claimed that the rate had changed because her late husband was no longer with the company Telus and the policy would double.

I cancelled the policy. I do not deal with crooks.

I have paid my premiums for years without delays, never ever had to have a claim, until a year and a half ago. I was very badly robbed. This company is dragging this claim out with all kinds of added requirements. I have provided everything that was asked, they have the police report, yet I still have no compensation . And this is a year and a half wait and no settlement. Why does our government allow Insurance companies to do whatever they will with people to make life miserable for a person. We pay for insurance coverage, they get our money, because we are lead to believe that we have coverage. Apparently this is not so. It appears to me as legalized crime???? This is so very wrong.
