WAITED FOR 44min at customer service call... They DON'T HAVE ENOUGH STAFF to handle the calls and putting us on hold. Just repeating Advertisements boasting their company and frequently 'a patience is appreciated. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT.
No Queue System and Your queue status numbers. Unfortunately, this company just plays an auto message and KILLING OUR TIME. Finally closed giving a call back message.
The story did not end. The next day they called at a random time for just a second and dropped a voice message to call another number.
This number, the same sad state of affairs and call went for 51 minutes and I dropped. Going to the nearest office to just give a change in payment information.
I have 3 cars and 2 houses insured with Allstate company for such a long time and always been loyal and on time in my payments, never missed any payments but now they are charging me double months plus $50 late payments because of their own mistakes, how can I even complain, where is the place to put complain against them, they never pick up the phone, and after trying to call them over a week and waiting over the phone for more than 1hour and 45 minutes every time I finally catch representative (Keith) who tried to waive the charge but the management team didn’t accept their mistakes and still ask for double payment and late payment charge.
How unfair they would be in this pandemic situation, with all these issues still trying to overcharge and rip off people.
NEVER GO WITH ALLSTATE.
So much better and more respectful and better customer services companies out there. Don’t do this to yourself.

If you want to get a quote someone will answer asap, but afterwards, if you have a question you will have to wait at least 20 min's on the phone just to talk to someone. Clearly shows they are only interested in gaining new customers and no after service or don't care afterwards.
Cancelled my policy two days after signing up as I found several other options for way, waaaaay cheaper. They are charging me $225 to cancel! After 2 days!
I was told if I had called within 24 hours, they might have been able to waive the fee. But, I did call within 24 hours. Unfortunately, they clearly don't have enough staff on hand as I was on hold for over an hour and had to leave for work. So was I supposed to miss a day of work to cancel on time?
Not that I would have known about this 24-hour window. I wasn't told anything about a cancellation fee when I signed up. NOTHING. And on top of that, the paperwork and temporary pink slip they were supposed to email me was never sent to me.
So thank you TD, for robbing me of over $200 that I don't have for a made-up fee you surprise people with. Big business at it's best.
Agent says there's some discrepancy regarding my rates. Raises them during Covid without warning or merit. It took hours to reach anyone here
Someone smashed my car from behind at an intersection and called Allstate. It took a long time but finally got hold of staff and waited for their tow truck to tow the car away. The care was eventually written off and we settled for far less than what the car was worth but needed a car asap. I bought a new car and asked for an estimate which they supplied after given them the vin# and all the necessary info. After picking up the new car, the price jumped up more than 40% than what was quoted. I've been calling them the past one week and they kept tossing me around and sometime won't even pick up my calls. I am so disappointed with them and looking at my options. I guess I will wait till I get to the bottom of this but so frustrating.
