Just had my first car accident. Need to get the bumper replaced. Phone customer service KEEPS delaying my claim, telling me they don't have claim info, telling me it's after hours, whatever. After 9 business days, they never called me. I had to call and leave multiple messages. They only called me when I clearly stated I wouldn't be available. IT'S BEEN A MONTH AND I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY CAR FIXED. I don't care how much my parents pay this terrible company, I would have paid them more if they got my claim done in less time and saved me the stress of getting my car fixed from my first accident. Terrible company!!!
What exactly is their protocol for calling on new claims is all over the place, 2-3 days, I was told on the phone could be up to 9 days - WOW, what kind of customer service is that!
Allstate is everything “NOT”, what they claim to be, interested only in taking your money and CUSTOMER CLIENT CARE does not seem to be in their values and vision...
Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
Took over a month to complete my claim with them and the entire process was a massive pain. The adjuster assigned to my claim never ONCE returned my calls or emails. I even mentioned it to who I thought was a manager and no one ever acknowledged that issue. It took forever for anyone to get back to me & the reason I got was there "busy" which I strongly believe was a cop-out. When one of the adjusters reach out to advise my truck was a write-off, I asked if I could bring it home to take off the aftermarket parts in my garage & not do it in a parking lot as I had electrical items that needed to come off, he told me - no. And I wasn't allowed as it was a "liability", when my husband called and asked the SAME THING, he let him with no issues. 2 weeks after the initial claim my vehicle was deemed a write off so when I called my broker to take it off my policy I was told it is not allowed till the claim is completed but would get credited. Once the claim was completed I reach out again to my broker to take it off my policy, she did but was advised I would be getting charged again for something I have not physically had in my possession for a month at this point. Once I voiced my concern and asked to speak to a manager I got the date backdated but won't be getting a refund, they would credit my remaining payments but when I called 2 weeks prior they lead me to believe otherwise, so they took my money no problem but now won't give it back. This explains why it was by far the cheapest I found..... Will definitely be looking for a new company.
Do not do anything with Allstate. They are the worst company, they will never return your call. The Adjustor I dealt with Carlos gave me the most runarounds. I was not at fault, I paid over 3000.00 for rentals they never reimbursed me when they said they would. They will not return calls or emails. I have to call from different phone numbers to catch him on the phone. The worst experience I have ever been through. The most stressful. Annoying. Unprofessional.
I had my car stolen on February 17th, it was recovered on the 19th, my vehicle has been sitting at the dealership for a whole month with no action from Allstate
I have lost count of how many emails and phone calls I have sent and called and no reply. I called the adjuster leaving a message I was going to be away for a couple of days and while I was gone he called and left not a nice message of how I did not answer the call and left another phone number he can call me at.
I have emailed him twice and called him twice and no reply.
In the meantime, I had to borrow a vehicle because my daughter has a broken leg (the day my car was stolen I was getting her on the wheelchair into emergency). My husband passed away and I have to borrow a vehicle again to deal with his funeral and other stuff that needed to be done
In my whole life, I have never had to deal with such nonsense, this is unacceptable.
If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.
First time dealing with them on a not a fault claim. Two weeks no responses, the car cannot be driven, no return calls or return emails.
Service is terrible so no matter how good a deal seems there is always a more expensive reason why...
Change from Allstate Insurance to another one because of poor customer services. They still owe me 385 dollars and it's been 4 months I'm waiting for it. Never ever go to Allstate's. Worst insurance company ever.
Put me on pay 4 months in advance every 2 months, after being on a monthly plan for years! I contacted them asking “why they go ahead and decided and this plan would be acceptable to me?!” Then the response I received was “ there was a glitch and they don’t offer this kind of plan any longer!” So I paid for 4 months then I received another bill for the second part asking me to pay for additional 4 months in advance! So, I paid for the month that was due, then since they are slippery they sent back the payment via cheque citing the payment was late and they wanted me to pay for a plan that they “ no longer have!”
This is one company that I do not endorse, they are also involved in violating privacy laws!
If you are looking for insurance coverage for anything, please do not go with ALLSTATE. I have the worst experience. Had a minor not-at-fault accident in November, called and put in a claim and up to today February 17th not a single person has called me. Employees are so incompetent that I call every other week and not a single person knows what is going on with my claim. The claim adjuster I was given has never called me, I was asked to call his manager, I did leave multiple messages yet no callback. They made me drive an accident car without a tow truck to the collision place they asked me to drop the car. They took my car since November, I don't have a car to use and the worst part, they are still charging my account monthly for insurance coverage. I was even advised by one employee to escalate further as this is really unprofessional. Oh well, I did and was given an escalation number. Yet no one called me. Please do yourself a favor DO NOT USE ALLSTATE INSURANCE.
I have never experienced such terrible customer service before until now I still can’t believe it. I had my daughter on my policy as a second driver until she decided to get her own car, we called Allstate a whole week before she was due to pick up her car, and they told her someone will call her, two days passed before she got a call, and even then again, she was told someone else from another department will have to call her back. Come the day to pick up her car, no one called her, so she called, and after being on hold for over 30m, she was told they’ll get an agent to call her back. She ended up calling another insurance who dealt with the coverage right away, so she could go pick up her new car. I still can’t understand why there were so many loops to jump through. Anyway, it was their loss.
