Currently on hold to add a new vehicle to my policy. It’s been over 2 hours.
But they appreciate me waiting and I’m very important them.
I think if I was they would have picked up by now...

Thanks to Aviva, I've got no insurance. They claim I never updated my address when I moved, which is false. They then proceeded to send me notices of failed payment only through mail to my house. The problem is they didn't update my address like I had requested, so I never received any warnings. They say I never called at all. Don't trust this company. They make costly mistakes. I should not be unable to drive because my credit card didn't process. It was a valid and functioning method of payment and could have been easily resolved had I received a phone call or email. Aviva is the worst. Their auto renewal is a scam. Oh, by the way I have a perfect driving record and I've been driving for 10 years. Aviva just walked away from free money.

I have this car insurance for over a year, the payment amount went up by almost 100$ because of my ticket. There is no problem with that but the thing is every time I asked my broker something, she always texts me back late or sometimes never answered. She just calls when it comes to money, also during the pandemic I got laid off from work, I asked my broker if she can delay my payment because I don’t have work she refused that request because the company Aviva is a private company... Well, I’m gonna transfer to another car insurance... I don’t wanna waste my money with this company ever again.

RBC Insurance I would not go with them! Too much money! Add $142 a month on top of crazy!

The Accident Benefits team in Markham Ontario have been a nightmare to deal with. I have been fighting with them for 3.5 years and now have to take them to court. I have been forced to pay out thousands of dollars in rehab and I was the one who was rear ended. They hired their own doctor to review my claim who said my injuries were not serious and were not as a result of my accident. Do not wait until you need them to find out they are scam artists. Save your money and go elsewhere.

My policy was cancelled without warning because I had a partial non payment on the file that I didn't even KNOW happened... I had called in last month to update my direct deposit schedule and no one informed me then that there was an old $50 outstanding payment and that it wouldn't even go through because my account was set up to be cancelled. Today they informed me that the only way I can create a new policy is to pay the entire premium for the year upfront. TERRIBLE communication. I am furious.

Aviva is pure garbage! It’s just another SCAM! They did not do a fair assessment of 2 seniors who had a car accident. They offered $0 !!!!!!

I have both my auto and property insurance with Aviva and now with the pandemic, I started looking around for better rates. Doing my research I found better coverage for both policies and for much cheaper, saving approx. $1000 per year. Therefore calling to cancel mid-term my policies with Aviva I am told that Aviva's short-term calculator indicates a 22% charge when my understanding from other mortgage brokers that the industry standard is 8-10%max. I want people to beware of these outstanding charges and think twice before joining Aviva. Do your research as there is way better out there. The best part of it all is that we were told we are getting a firefighter discount as well but how can that be when we are overpaying If I could give 0 stars rating I would.

I had 2 car insurance policies with them for many years (7 years). Next month one of my vehicle's insurance is up for insurance, I haven't got the renewal package as of yet, so I called in asking if they sent out the renewal package. At first, I was told that the renewal package was sent 2 months ago, then, I was told that I wasn't eligible for Multi-Vehicle Discount! When asked why I was told that my other car insurance was cancelled because I had 3 minor infractions over the past 3 years! That was surprising to me! I was also told that the cancellation happened 4 months ago and they sent out a registered mail - which I didn't receive - and they even that claimed my first vehicle - the one that is up for renewal - can't be insured because of the infractions!
