This company made a stressful event less stressful. They were courteous and very helpful and empathetic. Not once did they make me feel unimportant. I was treated as a person, an individual and all of my concerns addressed promptly. Great people to deal with.
Not sure why there are these nasty comments here. My son had an accident and my car was declared scrap. My agent ( Roula A.) called me got me a rental right away. I was surprised by the amount of money that they gave me for my car. Once your care is paid you normally have 24 to 48 hours to return the rental, since my wife was in the hospital I had no time to shop for a new car. Therefore I asked Roula if she can extend the rental for an extra day or so and she did. She extended the rental not for one day but a full week. Thank-you very much Roula for you wonderful service, you are my angel :)
I had one claim for an accident and they were very helpful, proactive and on time. I never had to call back for any issues. They resolved everything from the first call.
My 2014 Honda Civic was rear ended and totalled. The claims process was quick, easy and satisfactory. I had only been with Aviva for a couple months, and the at fault party was not with Aviva which probably helped. My adjuster did go on a week vacation right after the accident which worried me but my car was able to be driven, it was the holidays and she did get back to me as soon as she got back. I was happy with the payout process, the rental process and the communication. They also refunded me for my car seats that were in the car at the time which was great. Overall very happy! Sorry to everyone else that has not had this experience though.
In October 2023 my pick-up truck was damaged by vandals and required repair. I called AVIVA and spoke with Claims Adjustor. He exhibited empathy and understanding to my frustrating situation right from the onset of my claim. This made dealing with the incident so much easier for me on many levels. I was totally impressed at how friendly, proficient, patient and helpful he was in explaining the claims process with me and what was going to occur at each point. It was like he was anticipating my questions and addressing those issues before I asked him. After the repairs were completed I had a follow up question. I called Claims Adjustor and PROMPTLY received a call back. He answered my questions in an honest, forthright manner; which is a courtesy and respect I seldom receive when dealing with companies/corporations.
From my perspective as supervisor and manager for 20 years I can state that staff members like this not only represent their organizations in the best possible light, exhibit exemplary customer service skills and are “far and few between”.

I have never had a more easy and simple claim process, ever! I made the call about hail damage to my car and had an appointment to have the estimate 2 days later. The next day after the estimate it was determined it was a total loss, and very fair compensation offers were made by telephone. I accepted an offer and was reimbursed exactly one week to the claim date, wow. The service was amazing and personable. They were compassionate as to my welfare, and kind and clear as to the conditions of my coverage. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. I am completely satisfied, and then some.
From start to finish my experience with Aviva was such a pleasure. I had an accident on January 24. Aviva contacted me the very next day to collect information, and connect me to my adjuster. The adjuster came out within 2 days of the accident to see the vehicle. Within 1 week of the accident, I was told the vehicle was a total write-off. 2 weeks after my accident, I have already received a check that completely replaced the brand new value of my totalled car plus some under the New Car Warranty program. Aviva was very courteous to me through all the interactions I had and were patient in answering all my questions. I actually had not realized that Aviva had such bad reviews when I had switched to them a year ago. I was a little panicked after the accident when I was looking for other peoples' experiences in dealing with Aviva so I could know what to expect. I am already in a brand new vehicle only 2 weeks post accident. I think that is an incredible service. Thank you, Aviva.
I have been insured with Aviva for about 3 years now. I have had no problems at all with them and the price has been very good. I have my home, vehicle and 2 ATV's insured with them.

I got into an accident on July 06 2015. The first thing I did was called the cops, second was call my insurance company which is Aviva. After I made that second call you better believe it I was treated like a 1 year old baby. My agent, instructed me in terms of what to do, sent a tow truck to pick up my car from the parking lot and tow it to the collision reporting centre, sent a driver to pick me up so I can pick a rental car, I had an awesome experience. My agent was outstanding and her name is Susan F., very nice person at heart and at getting things done the right way. I was not as it fault by the way.. Aviva paid me off for my car and the sum that they paid me was more than I was expecting! Today I'm driving a Infiniti G35! Still with Aviva and don't think I'll ever switch! Thank you.
I have been insured by Elite Aviva for years. This past summer, 2015, we had a catastrophic frame failure, cause unknown, so we contacted the adjuster, Celeste, in Edmonton and our claim was handled efficiently and professionally. We didn't even have to pay deductible!
We appreciate their great service.
