Terrible service wait forever

I recently got into a little accident in a parking lot. My car has now been in the shop for 10 days without any work being done - just sitting there. This is because Belairdirect hasn’t been able to approve the quote from the body shop. Unfortunately, I have been left without a car and have no choice but to take a cab to work. I have called on numerous occasions and still haven’t gotten any response or call back from these guys. My family and I are struggling to get around. I would not recommend Belair.
After having their insurance for 6 months, they called and began harassing us for drivers records. We tried to explain that they already had them but they kept harassing us on the phone. We sent new copies to them yet the harassment continued for a month! Seemed like no one knew what the other was doing. Of course, we couldn't cancel without a huge penalty. I am so glad I didn't have to file a claim with them!! Thank goodness my policy expires next month I just hope they don't try and take a payment from our credit card!

I was literally only calling for a quote, to confirm the online one I had previously done. I voiced that to the agent at the very beginning of my phone call. The agent took 30 minutes to tell me a number, after asking a million and one questions and glorifying all of the perks they offer. When he finally told me the number, he continued to brag about the premium and said I will never find that anywhere and then he became very condescending when I said I had been offered something better elsewhere. He also started getting pushy for me to tell him my banking information and by this time, I had told him 3 times I’m simply shopping around and not finalizing anything. I had to hang up the phone because he would not stop. After that experience, I will never go with Belair.
Despite providing Belairdirect with all relevant copies of signed documentation, they refused to cancel my policies for Home and Auto. They continued to withdraw money from my account for two months past my request for cancellation. They refused to refund me the money and I had to put a stop order to prevent further withdrawals. There was no communication from them to me despite numerous emails from both my new broker and myself asking for clarification on why Belair would not cancel my policies nor refund the monies taken from my account. Cannot express strongly enough DO NOT DEAL WITH BELAIRDIRECT! Rating -- 0
I had this insurance since last October 2017. I'm 75 years old, English is my second language. I asked for a full coverage car insurance and they took advantage of my language, I'm paying 296$ monthly. I recently had an accident. After the accident I realized that I'm paying for 1 way insurance, and I talked to my friend, he said that he had the same problem with them but he fixed it before anything happened to him, and they said that I'm at fault and they closed my claim file without contacting my accident witnesses, and I asked them to do that and they said they will not calling them for no reason. They took advantage of my English, my name and my age.
Terrible service from day 1. A headache and an annoyance. It was supposed to save me money, but cost me more, even from the start. And then you guys harass me with phone calls to call you back because you want more money
The worst mistake you can make is to sign up with BelairDirect. Their customer service is the worst that I've ever experienced. They refused to let me speak to a manager. They neglected to respond to any of my emails or phone calls. Their representatives were rude, condescending, and unhelpful. I just got out of my policy with them and it's the best feeling imaginable!
If I could give a zero, I would! These people are a scam. Whatever they tell you on the first call is different on the second one. ***PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS INSURANCE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!*** They charge you twice on the first month and when you cancel your contract, they're gonna charge you more than your monthly fees! In the end, you're gonna pay even more than what you're supposed to! I didn't even use my insurance for a month and I paid almost $800! Unbelievable! Even their automerit app is not good. One hard break and you lose your 25% discount. AND take note, it's HARD to increase your discount once you lose it! I am using TD insurance now and the app they let you use is more fair than automerit. **NEVER BUY INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY**
It was dealt with, but the experience was bad. They made dealing with this somewhat of a hassle. Why should I beg to get help? They really gave me no assurance. Like I said, it was dealt with, wasn’t the best outcome but I am satisfied

Terrible service. Was a client for 2 years. Trouble started when left Ontario for BC. Didn't get my last Pinkslip for proof of insurance requested it 4 times. Requested experience letter and proof of no claim 4 times, received it and it was wrong, had to ask again, 6th time correct. Then after cancelling still had to pay the next months premium and wait a month for it to be refunded. Worst service from an insurance company ever.
