We have contracted auto insurance 4 months ago. My truck was stolen approximately 3 weeks ago. The process with the insurer is most unfortunate. They never answer emails. The person assigned to us for the process is never available and never returns the calls. Very bad service! I would never recommend this insurance company!

I’m so disappointed in Belairdirect... I submitted a claim for theft of parts on April 26th, 2022 as someone tried to steal my catalytic converter and sawed into the underneath of my car wrecking not only my exhaust but sawed into my torsion bar and my frame. It took them 3 weeks to get it towed away and when they did tow it they weren’t even sure where it was towed to. There has been no effort to reach out to me in the process I’ve spent countless hours trying to get in touch with my adjuster who just seems too busy to have me on her workload and didn’t care when I finally got in touch with her to help resolve my issues... I’ve had to reach out to the repair shop and other claim department workers to see what’s going on and still, nobody has any solid answers. It took a complaint against the company and my adjuster for the company to reach out to me and didn’t even have a solid answer for me then. I’m embarrassed for the company and their low customer satisfaction/service and after this is all said and done I will not be insured with the company again.

Belair direct is a terrible insurance company who have no respect for their customers. I highly suggest going with another company if you want great service. The lack of communication they provide their clients with is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Our vehicle was stolen on April 8, 2022. We heard from the insurance agent 3 times between April 8 2022-April 11 2022. After many emails, phone calls and voicemails we finally heard back from the agent on May 2 2022 almost four weeks after we started our claim. The lady submitted us with a disgusting offer that we did not accept. When we asked her where they had gotten their number from she provided us with three dealerships from the Toronto area. We did our homework and reached out to those dealers. To our surprise these dealers did not have our vehicle - make and model on their lot and haven't had them in months. When my husband spoke to the managers at these three dealerships they all laughed and said that the price that Belair direct had offered us was way too low. Belair is a fraudulent company who have absolutely no respect for their clients. It’s sickening to think that they actually use these tactics with their customers and that some people do not do their homework and follow up. Being with Belairdirect has caused us nothing but stress.

My vehicle was stolen in Dec 2018 and up until now, Belair has refused to settle my claim. It has been 3 years and I am still making car finance payments for a car that was stolen in 2018. Belairdirect will much rather have their lawyers drag the claim and frustrate you instead of settling your claim, clearly, that's their business model. They use what appears to be a good insurance cost to draw you in when in fact they have no intentions to cover you if something happens, and then they have ridiculous cancellation fees. Stay away
