How many employees work at TD Meloche Monnex? 3? Good luck trying to get an answer on the phone. Hundreds of Google reviews all say the same thing - get ready to wait for litteraly hours. There are no excuses for this complete lack of respect for their clients. Get your act together Meloche. I will be changing (if I can get through to cancel my 4 policies) and apparently I am not alone. Avoid at all costs.
I recently purchased home insurance and paid the annual amount in full. About a month later I received a phone call saying that I had an outstanding balance. The person that called couldn’t provide any details so I had to call TD. After numerous attempts to reach someone (dropped calls due to their poor phone connection, waiting on hold for over an hour each time I called) I was finally able to speak to someone. They gave me a reason as to why I had a balance that didn’t make sense. Long story short, each time I spoke to someone regarding the balance I got a different story as to why I still owed them money. On top of that, they were charging me interest on the outstanding amount. TD has been my insurance provider for years, but I no longer trust their practices
September 8, 2020 - currently on hold for 2h 45m and STILL waiting! No callback option? Unable to sign in to an online account. Horrible!
TD insurance did not anything regarding an unexplainable home insurance increase of 100%. Despicable company
As many comments are already here. I am a LONG time customer of TD Meloche Monnex. Have 2 auto and 4 home policies with them. Good grief is it nearly impossible to connect with anyone live! Tried the phone. Nothing. Try the online chat... nothing. As far as I can tell the rates are competitive, however, If you can't invest in resources to serve your customers, there are others who will...
I've been with TD for about 3 years. Initially, they were a great company to deal with regarding insurance and claims. I'm moving and thought to change my renter's insurance to my new address. I figured it would be a quick 30-minute phone call but I was wrong. it took 5 HOURS to get a hold of someone. I just got my paperwork in the mail regarding my change to find out that they are charging me $133 for changing my address. On top of that, I am now paying for my old and new place (double rent insurance). Now I get to be on hold for hours again but this time it will be a cancellation of all my policies!
I had my basement flooded. Day four after flood and claim and can not reach anybody. Nobody came or did anything so I started to renovate myself as while house started to stink...
I have tried for several days to get a hold of a TD representative to tell me why my insurance has gone up with absolutely no luck; each time I waited nearly an hour, either they hang up or I gave up waiting. I am glad I haven't had to submit a claim, I will definitely switch!

I just received my home insurance policy from TD and found it's incorrect and different from what I was told on the phone with the TD insurance service line. So I tried to call - a few times so far, each time I waited for about 1 hour and no one has answered my phone.

Got a call from a collections agency today. Turns out TD cancelled my insurance several months ago, made very little (if any) effort to contact me, charged me $218 for something, perhaps a cancellation fee, but the agent didn't even know. I didn't know anything was wrong until I got calls from the collections agency. This on top of having to wait 1 1/2 hours on hold. Asked them where they sent the letters, they had the right address but didn't include the unit number, so I never got them. Thankfully nothing went wrong while I was unknowingly uninsured.
