RBC Insurance Auto Insurance Reviews

All I wanted was a name change on a policy of RBC and was on the phone for 3 hours. This is the worst service I can ever imagine. How bad would it be if I had a claim?

The first time I enrolled with them, I got a better rate than what I had previously. In one year, they decided to increase my premium by 30% for no reason.
Once I sold the car, I had to pay cancellation fees and I was not reimbursed for last month which I paid in advance.
This is really pathetic!
Cheap, unprofessional company !

I just want to change the auto address, it takes me more than an hour. The customer service checks my property insurance. Wasted 30 minutes... Customer service has no working knowledge at all.

Never ever dealing with RBC anymore.
Especially your auto insurance the worst customer service ever since September 02, 2022, I was calling to cancel my auto policy because the car was sold so no need for it.
Every time I called waiting on the phone for a minimum of 4 hours. It took me more than one month and a half just to cancel my insurance and they said they can't refund me until I prove that I called many times by sending them a list of calls and such things. Seriously you guys are disgusting.

RBC insurance service is great, but to get connected to an insurance customer care support team is a nightmare.
The average wait time is 1.5 hours to 2 hours and they have big challenges in calling back service.
Looks like they are understaffed and not able to meet customers' needs.

I had to move out of the country for several months and no one would be accessing/driving the car.
Called in 45 days before leaving and was told that the best option would be a "suspension of coverage". The cost would be 15% of what my premium is.
Nevertheless, he suggested that it was too early to apply the change and to call back 30 days before my departure.
I did. I explain again my situation and and requested the "suspension of coverage" as suggested by the previous agent. This time I got a quote that was about 35% of my premium. I told her that I was quoted a much less amount and that she could confirm it by going to the notes in my file. Her reply was that the previous agent shouldn't have quoted me any value.
I decided to cancel, both, the car and house insurance.

We have home & auto insurance with RBC Insurance. It is simply impossible to get in touch with their customer service. I tried to contact them on phone for a continuous week every single day and failed. It’s a hopeless and pathetic service.

I called RBC to cancel my insurance and they charged extra month I already paid of $345 and an extra $108.. worst experience .. I would never go to RBC again.. they are stealing money…

What is wrong with these places? You can't even speak to a human being for over 2 hours wait and then they hang up on you!!! Leaving RBC Insurance and going with a different insurance company that actually cares about their clients. RBC Insurance has no clue about customer service...
