This has been the absolute worst experience, and your company deserves a one-star rating. The police did an excellent job recovering my stolen car, yet your company is refusing to provide a rental vehicle and is doing nothing but writing biased notes. I am incredibly frustrated with this terrible customer service. I do not want any further delays or services from you. I want my car back immediately. This is my vehicle, and I want it back now. The rental coverage I am asking for is my right because I pay my monthly insurance bills. Stop writing notes and causing delays. Send me the exact pickup address immediately so I can collect my car from this terrible company.

Aviva is the worst Insurance company, especially the adjuster! I had a claim, and they gave me such a hard time! They wanted my phone's records before they can release my total loss settlement!

Called in Aviva this morning and was given the option to text, which I chose as it’s more convenient. Was really amazed by the unprofessional team running the chat. I have been working in customer service for more than 10 years and never experienced this.
The agent responded to my text saying-
1. Please advise them to send in photos time stamped for review. Thank you for using the Auto text chat.
2. Until we receive photos from the tow service team we can not make any decisions on additional repair coverage, we apologize if this is not the answer you were looking for.

Firstly, while I was chatting the agent just shut down the conversation saying thank you for using our chat whereas I was not done yet. Secondly, was given this blunt response apologizing if it’s not the answer you were looking for, where I was just asking n raising my concern on the claim.

REALLY DISAPPOINTED AND WOULDN’T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THEIR CHAT SERVICE.

Aviva is the stingiest car insurance company in Canada. Sure their premiums are generally reasonable which is why they are one of the largest insurance companies, however, as soon as you get into an accident and need treatment they will do anything to avoid paying.

I am a personal injury lawyer and any time I get an Aviva Accident Benefits file they try to designate it as minor injury and only pay out $3.5k for treatment. I have had files where my client had severe PTSD or tears in the shoulder or pre-existing injuries which make it impossible to resolve their accident-related injuries under the $3.5k limit (this should get you out of the Minor Injury Guideline and increase your entitlement to treatment to $65k), and they all get labelled as minor injury claimants.

Never go with Aviva.

I was with Aviva for 3 years. Always paid on time and what they have done is terrible. I was hit by someone and they drive off the scene twice this happened to me and now a year later I try to get insurance for my car and they told me that I had 3 at-fault accidents they were not my fault it was hit and run! But they still put it as an at-fault accident on my record I can't even get insurance anymore! These people have absolutely violated my loyalty to them for 3 years please do not even come close to doing any business with Aviva. They're going to destroy your record forever I'm so upset and crying as I am typing this and hopefully someone will read this and stay far far away from Aviva!

No one paid attention to their clients neither the broker nor my claim advisor. My claim is resolved after almost 6 months and my broker never replied to me. They really provide terrible services.

I was told that debris falling from another vehicle and hitting a mine while driving puts me at fault. The adjuster was nowhere to be found for additional information. Aviva is very bad at returning calls and emails left me out pocket 1000$. Stay away stay far far away
